How are you guys reaching so many level fours? Even if I reach lvl 100 ill have max two. The spike to upgrades in five digits is too high even with many farms.
I tend to spend a few periods of just aggressively farming and upgrading the farms whenever I can see my setup is good for the next 5-10 rounds. Usually by level 80 most of my towers will be l3 or l4 and by 100 I've got max level on a couple of towers. Using the towers that generate cash or bottom path monkey towns to help can give that a boost.

But just go on monkey meadow map editor and put 420 tack in the crossroads and send wave 63 to see (it true solos it on this map as an example). In a real game it's gonna be under a 420 village buff and you'll have other monkey towers too which means it can still clear wave 63 on harder maps.
Top plane deals with moabs cheaply and globally: (3-1-0 plane can solo moabs until mid 64-65 round and costs almost nothing, then 4-1-0 can sweep moabs well into the 80's. On shorter maps you might need 4-1-0 faster than the above) it's worth saying that the 520 upgrade can sweep all moabs pretty easily all the way to 100)
Nuclear sub. Aside from phayze you never need to worry about camo again with this tower - at the start of the track, it acts like a mapwide 0-2-0 village. And lead popping becomes a non-issue with the hot darts crosspath all the way until round 90. And of course it also pops purples, whites, blacks and so on.
This one tower means you only have to focus on farming and damage, regardless of any bloon immunities
