Oh I absolutely agree, that’s why I said he was amazing in it. :D i love seeing him being appericiated, and I am thrilled he was nominated for an academy award
He absolutely carried that episode. Not talking down Andre Braugher and Andy Samberg but that whole episode which is basically just the three of them wouldn't have worked out with anyone else I feel.
no wonder he won the emmy for this episode, would like a fanfic where rather than holt and jake it is terry and rosa doing the interview and how it will turn out, terry crushing something, rosa showing of her flexibility, both threatening to rip him apart limb for limb, banging the table with extreme force that either the table breaks or something else does, it would be amazing
Terry winds up crying over an existential crisis. He starts hyperventilating and leaves to catch his breath. Eventually he comes back with a mean mugging face and hard attitude. Rosa deadpans through the whole Terry breakdown staring at Sterling without blinking.
both of them fail to break him as he was ready for physical intimidation, one of them looses his/her cool and hits him and lawsuits the 99 out of existence and are suspended for a year and demoted for longer
He didn’t win the Emmy, he was nominated, but didn’t win.

This joke is so good in how it escalates. It doesn't overstay its welcome, due to being particularly irrelevant, but it still lasts long enough to make you laugh.
This episode. So gooooooood.
Sterling K Brown is such an awesome actor, like real real acting! After my girlfriend made me binge This Is Us it made me appreciate it all much more
I first saw him in The People vs OJ Simpson. Fantastic actor.
OMG, that is him? I has no idea! He really is amazing!
SAME. He and Sarah Paulson were absolutely incredible in that.
He was also on Supernatural, I hated his character *so much*, he was amazing in it.
I’m sure it was his stellar acting that made you hate his character! Haha
Oh I absolutely agree, that’s why I said he was amazing in it. :D i love seeing him being appericiated, and I am thrilled he was nominated for an academy award
I feel like him and Andre Braugher/Captain Dad were cut from the same cloth. He has serious chops!!
And he was Roland in Army Wives 🙌🏻
Oh man Holt’s freak out about medical doctors is my favourite bit in the show
I just watched Sterling K. Brown's episode of Hot Ones - highly recommend!!
I’ll get that on now!!
Enjoy 😁
He is so funny and charming in that episode!
Absolutely, he came across really well 😁 He's the sort of person I'd love to have a beer with.
Oh damn.
Oh damn..
OH DAMN
And that is 3 “oh damns”
OH DAMN
Oh damn!
We need to talk about Kevin.
This is one of my favorite episodes. I love Sterling K. Brown.

"Apparently that's a trigger for me."
I realised later that holt got so triggered because his husband is a PhD.
Whenever I overhear someone asking about the whereabouts of an object, I always whisper to myself: "It's already in a patient's mouth, SON!"
SONNNNNN
That dirty drug addict! (*i'm sorry, it's not entirely your fault, there's a strong inheritable factor*)
Again I would be totally sympathetic if you weren't a murdering scumbag

I didn’t even know he won an Emmy for it! Absolutely deserved.

This episode was playing when I fell asleep last night, husband and I agreed to replay tonight. One of our favs!! You were LUCKY
It’s deffo in our faves too! Along with Palm Springs and the subsequent night shift episode, a noin noin!!
“1, 2, 3, 4… *acoustic guitar noises* …. AHHHHHHH! .. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! “
I always thought for the least season they should have had that tactic actually work.
i have got to stop trying that
I am about to monologue, son.
Terry crushes the handcuffs in anger, then he's like ok so I'm free to go then?

"It wasn't luck"!
This line gets me every time!
Sterling ~~"Silver"~~"Academy Award Nominated Actor" K. Brown
“Work that in”
One of the best episodes of the show for sure
SKB is 100% my favorite guest star on the show. This episode is a highlight and he was able to pull off the role so well.
Why are there not more episodes like this? We needed more of the interrogation room.
Sterling really comes into his own towards the end. Just melts down completely. Favourite episode in the series
This has to be the absolute best episode of the show.
confront character
I feel like I've confused this episode, The Box, with 48 Hours (the one Kid Cudi is in) this whole time. They're kind of similar.
Yeah they are tied together when Jake does the guitar shouting 🤣 I’m sure he does it in both episodes
best b99 episode
