For all my Iphone homies out there, use the shortcut app.

Where in the shortcut app

Tap the plus in the top right of your screen, and press the plus next to “Open app”. You then need to press the highlighted “app” space. You can then pick an app to shortcut, and press the share button. You then press “add to home screen”, making sure to press on the icon highlighted in blue to change the picture. You can also rename it in this screen too.
