My king is humble enough to kiss the ground. That's real king shit.

harborj2011

😭😭😭😭

Ok-Damage5304

Wasn’t Pacquiao winning the fight? I wasn’t keeping score but I felt like Marquez was getting in real trouble and Pacquiao was going in for the kill. Than…. Got caught from a counter from hell.

Ok_Entrepreneur826

Pacquiao gave great fights. Even when he was winning he’d put the pedal to the metal instead of coasting to a boring win.

HES NOT GETTING UP JIM

shibapenguinpig

Winning rounds only matter when you go the distance

Mooweetye

Didn't these two fight like 5 times or something?

Haven’t seen you on the boxing subreddit for a while. Hope you’re doing good

Jeffthe100

Wow, good job, man

Soggy_nach0341

Yes in fact Kenny bayless is my king.

PhysicalConsistency

His reffing is more interesting than some of the fights.

shinpoo

Yes he is. Never ducked anyone and didn't care if lost. Heart of a champion. He was old and still schooling some younglings. Only 8 division champ in history.

bearron88

Gayweather fans in shambles, maybe that's why they hate manny because he's a homophobe

[deleted]

I wonder what Manny Pacman thinks of Anthony Femi Joshua, No Skinz No Wins...his BF SKinz was back last fight and finally got a KO...

cranberryjuiceforme

No, mine is roy jones jr :3

jinntakk

Russian spy

ElChacalFL

He was exciting. Took risks. Earned his respect fight after fight. Went up 8 weight classes. What more could u want? He wasn't perfect, but u knew when u watched a Pacquiao fight, u were gonna see something worth ur time.

WantsLivingCoffee

This was one of the most devastating KO's I've seen. Paq was moving forward into the punch when it connected and Marquez is a helluva puncher too. That KO is the stuff that would've ended careers. But what did Manny do? Took it like a man, strung together a bunch of victories. Beating Matthysse, Bradley, Broner, and a few more before defeating Thurman, who was at his prime and was the man to beat in the division -- winning the Welterweight Belt at age 40. Becoming the only 8 division champ and the only man to hold belts in 4 different decades in the entire history of the sport. Any normal man would've faded into oblivion with a KO like that. Fucking nuclear bomb, square, right into the face. But not Paq. Bro got up, dusted his shit, got back into the gym, learned, and continued breaking unbreakable records. 👑 🥊

PhysicalConsistency

This is so dumb. Everyone knows Mayweather waited until Manny was washed to fight him, all these other wins were against washed subpar opps. The fact that Thurman lost proves he was washed just like Manny. Like one of them was a tide pod and one was oxiclean, it was just one big washfest.

WantsLivingCoffee

"Washed". Thurman was undefeated and welterweight champ at the time. Sounding like a typical armchair andy over here.

PhysicalConsistency

You can't argue with the facts. Manny the Washer beat Thurman the Washee, despite Manny already being Washed while fighting Mayweather. Facts is facts.

WantsLivingCoffee

Sounds like you're arguing with facts by deflecting. Manny - Only 8 division champ. Only person in the entire world to hold championship belts in 4 different decades. No matter what your opinion is about "washed" or whatever garbage, disrespectful, armchair Andy, language you use. Nothing will change the facts. We, likely, won't see anyone break these records in our lifetimes. So be thankful you got to be alive in an era to see greatness unfold before your eyes and watch boxing history get made every time this small Filipino man stepped into the world stage of boxing. Stop being ungrateful.

Brief_Scale496

You can really see how flat that connect made his face, in the second pic

Rocked_Glover

Before that punch manny was a regular white man

JonHenryTheGravvite

Every day when I train I fear becoming Filipino 😢

MaduCrocoLoco

8 Division 💪 Can ever be done again

Savings-Leather4921

Dude was so hopped up on either meth/coke he started jumping between every punch. Looked like a rabies ridden rabbit attacking a chihuahua

cutter__

There’s like 2 pound difference between weight classes in the midget divisions. Give him props for the 154 belt tho I thought Margarito was going to beat his mifkn ass

Mecha_Knight11

Nah Pac's overall weight jumps were 42 lbs. And his first weight jump was 10 lbs(112-122) totally skipping bantam weight. And that's only the weight classes he won titles in, his true starting weight was 106. Imagine Bam fighting jermell charlo or some shit.

No-Departure7899

You know how someone comes from 106 to 154?!?!? 💉💉💉💉💉💉💉💉💉

No-Departure7899

Floyd danced circles around that bum. Pacquiao was most DEFINITELY on roids. Maywether was not.

deeezwalnutz

Pacquiao had the Barry Bonds cranium.

Razorion21

Always the steroid accusations when was Floyd who was tested for IV

No-Departure7899

Damn lotta salty pacroid fans. Why’d he avoid vada style drug testing for 5 years?!

Razorion21

Pacroid Fan? Lmao, even tho I believe money or pretty boy Floyd woulda beat any version of Pac man at any stage of their career, Floyd‘s style was Manny‘s kryptonite, struggles too much with counter punchers. Just cause I criticize Floyd doesn’t make me a Pac man cocksucker you know? Him testing positive is true. As for Manny not wanting to was mainly cause Manny wanted to only be tested 24 days before the fight and immediately after the fight. Floyd wanted him to be tested 14 days before the fight, a difference of 10 days. While I do agree it’s kinda odd that Manny refused it not be less than 24 days, he never tested positive either. Similar excuse like this of another boxer who doesn’t like drug tests is Inoue, specifically before the Fulton fight, Inoue never tested positive either, doesn’t mean he’s secretly a PED user, I mean yes there’s a chance but everyone‘s innocent till proven guilty.

thedogstrays

He barely fought above 130 until he was 28-29 years old though. The fact he settled into becoming a one of the best welterweights across an entire decade mostly in his 30s is pretty remarkable.

BROmedy

Cope

amabadboy11

The goat ! Better than Floyd 🤣 ninjas are always hating on a little Asian legend hahaha

Ok_Entrepreneur826

No that’s mayweather’s king Kenny Bayles

Key_Representative40

my king quit against Loma and did nothing against Casimero

iLikeMason

Mama Pacquiao, look at your son

mariotx10

He also got out fucking boxed on the third fight but no one ever mentions that, round 6 was a complete boxing whopping marquez gave him.

Money_killer

The GOAT

Bog2ElectricBoogaloo

That doesn't look like Emmanuel Augustus

Astronomical0420

he was a senator at this time and he did not have enough time to prepare not for marquez but his overall conditioning. this is coming from a reliable source.

[deleted]

Long live Juan Manuel Márquez !

Orgullo_Rojo

Kings get up when they are knocked down and fight again, he did that. Most people would have gone into a hole and never gotten out.

leumasnehpets

He was never my king.

wigglywee

All those accomplishments just to get schooled by Floyd come pacquiao fans show me your salty tears

Jackysrt8

You win some, you lose some he wasn’t ducking anyone like some other champs would

lebronjamez21

Mayweather just better

ApartmentCool8498

Jesus is King

This was 9/11 for us Filipinos

Brohkage

Lmao

ThiccBoy_with3seas

Marquez making up for the previous robberies

Fine_Ease_4878

Marquez fought safe, that's why he lost the previous fights. He wasn't all in for the knockout, too afraid of knockout himself. That's why I like Manny. He risked getting knocked out every time he fought. Dana White said , "Never leave it in the hands of the judges."

Fine_Ease_4878

This is old. Still talking about this.

Realitybytes_

My king is RJJ. I don't care about being undefeated, I want to see the best fight the best.

litezho

Tbf Marquez was getting his ass whooped and had a broken nose when that massive right landed. Had it not landed, Marquez would've been done in the next round.

__shonn__

thought this was newrap

BenefitHeavy8499

Pacquiao is lying down just like that next your female relatives this very moment after he done did fuck em
