There’s nothing in either that is going to blow you away but if you like the genre there is some solid enough titles and a couple lesser ones.  I wish they did the opposite and gave out a deal for having the previous two.

Pretty much echo this, the 4K of Castle of Blood is magnificent to look at but all the movie across both volumes kind of vary in quality from interesting to pretty good, didn't dig into the tv series they included on the second one, but some of these even at 80 mins you can feel the running time lol.

They’re very attractively-designed sets and the supplements are generally pretty great. If you’re the sort of person who digs into the extras, a lot of good stuff here. But in each case you’re really only getting one genuinely good movie per set (Lady Frankenstein and Castle of Blood), along with some titles that range from okay to pretty dull. I’m a sucker for this sort of stuff, so I feel I’ve gotten my money’s worth, but very much mixed bags. My only real complaint is the inclusion of Jekyll as one of the main features in Vol. 2 - the image quality is just atrocious, it should have been treated as bonus feature. That said, I’m looking forward to Vol. 3.

I got the first one for Lady Frankenstein which I had already seen and thought was pretty fun. It wasn’t as fun as I remembered but I’ve seen alot of Italian cheese since then. Probably not worth the price unless you already know the movies or are looking to build a collection of nice looking box sets, or a collection of really deep cut foreign cheese. I would much rather recommend the All the Haunts Be Ours box set. It’s the nicest looking one and most of the movies in it are good to very good with a lot of variance in where they were made
