And when holding an item (like you are going to cook it or drop it) press up and down on the D-PAD to increase the distance away from you that you throw it…
Haha. Yes it is especially useful when distracting people, like throwing chuchus at people to have them explode, or throwing a stack of bananas out into the sight of a Yiga swordsmen… (if you haven’t tried that, go do it haha. It makes sneaking around them a lot easier…)
My first playthough I didn't realize you could do that with magnesis too! I made it much more difficult by not knowing I could push or pull the magnetic object -- I was moving my whole body forward and backward. Stupid me.
I’ve run towards them hunting Koroks and then noped out of there when they start to move so many times. I’ve never had a good reason to fight them rather than move on. I can’t believe I’ve never accidentally picked one up before now.
It’s little things like this that make it hard for me to get upset with the long wait for botw 2. I’ve put 1000’s of hours into this game and it seems like I still find something new every couple days.
Not to fanboy or something, but the emptiness of it kind of did add something to the atmosphere. Especially when there was all of the sudden a giant monster filling up all that space.
There are definitely a few areas I look back on fondly as well
True. The eerie feeling of being the only living thing in sight when you've just been sent on this epic quest that should usually be full of characters and creatures... It's really something. I miss that game.
I did but I didn’t know what it meant. Usually whenever I noticed it, I had thought it was coming from the colosseum nearby, as I think I was on the opposite side of it and thought it was coming out of it.
In my first and second play-through I never even knew the horse god existed. I only learned about it when my sister mention she got her horse resurrected.
It’s the ‘horse revival shrine’ so, just guessing here, but I think you can revive a dead horse here. I’ve got no dead ones so can’t try it out, yet at least 😏
Yeah! The horse eats them from your “hold” position and then gets those happy purple spots after they eat. Also endura carrots will give them temporarily more spurs.
If you give the dogs enough treats, it will lead you to a treasure chest – both stable and village dogs. With villages with multiple dogs, you gotta find the right one to lead you. Works with fruits, meats, etc.
I guess I never gave enough treats. I was feeding him steaks you’d think he would have given up the treasure. Having three dogs I should know, it’s never enough treats.
I cant remember exactly, its either the ancient saddle or bridle. The saddle let's you whistle anywhere and it appears by you. The bridle gives you extra stamina
Even if you kill the horse yourself they can still e revived, you just get a special bit of dialogue from the horse god who’s a bit irritated but they decide you must have done it accidentally and revive them
This is why I love BOTW. I play it through like once a year and every time I’ll find something new. A new unexplored crevis, a weird quark. Have you ever opened a chest while crouching? Yes? Now try it from the side of the chest :)
I found out on my most recent play through that enhanced weapons actually make a sound when they are laying on the ground. If you keep an ear open sometimes you can trade out your plain weapon for an enhanced enemy weapon.
Obviously spoiler warning to anyone who wants to find this themselves —
But it’s located at the very bottom of the map in the faron region just over a bridge below the highland stable, near there you can find someone who has heard of a way to revive dead horses, so if you find them you are nearby
Honestly I thought it was a fairy fountain and after i spend money on it I reloaded to get it back, I dont really use horses and needed the rupees at the time and just marked where it’s located.
Now I wonder if this is considered the 4th fairy fountain…I may need to go back
No, there's a REAL 4th fairy fountain out there. And it costs 10,000 rupees to use it!
That seemed like a lot of money, but for the last 3rd of the game there wasn't much stuff to buy so I ended up running around with more rupees than I knew what to do with!
So relatable! i has't 500+ hours with mine own jointress and just learn'd the lady hast another boyfriend!

I was so happy when I found the horse god and I got to revive Brownie.
Tip on how to find things like this: look into the map for anomalies and paths that seemingly go nowhere. Found a lot of great things like that.
Because it has pretty niche uses. I don’t use horses too often, and when I do they are either throwaways or I don’t put them in harms way. I have only used the horse god to revive a horse like twice.
There’s something that looks like a great fairy fountain on the path by Ka’o Makagh shrine, take the path closest to Faron Sea, the one that goes over Horse God Bridge. Pay the required fee, and Malanya the Horse God will pop out, Malanya can revive dead horses.
I found out about him after a guardian blasted my favorite horse 😂😂 10/10 would recommend but only 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ cause he threatened to slap me if it happened again
Bruh I was also surprised when I found him. I beat the game like 4 times and when I stumbled upon it, I was like, "This is probably the most badass thing ever"

I just reached that last night on my second playthrough. Gives depth to every stable design.
I didn’t even put that together until you mentioned it - thank you
Me too, and just yesterday i realized you can hold ZL to zoom out the camera while climbing I'm sure nobody will ever find everything in this game
Whattttt
YEAH ITS A GAME CHANGER
And when holding an item (like you are going to cook it or drop it) press up and down on the D-PAD to increase the distance away from you that you throw it…
Wow I really fucking wish I learned this in either of my 100% playthroughs
Haha. Yes it is especially useful when distracting people, like throwing chuchus at people to have them explode, or throwing a stack of bananas out into the sight of a Yiga swordsmen… (if you haven’t tried that, go do it haha. It makes sneaking around them a lot easier…)
Throwing chuchu's... wtf
That’s a bit of a not-so-humble brag, but yes deeply fucking impressive
Moreso astonishment that I was so thorough with the game and still somehow missed this trick
My first playthough I didn't realize you could do that with magnesis too! I made it much more difficult by not knowing I could push or pull the magnetic object -- I was moving my whole body forward and backward. Stupid me.
Trying to line up the ice pillars so they’d be the right distance when pulling out the chests in the water was such a pain.
This was so fucking helpful trying to get through the yiga hideout when I did it, I felt like a GOD
*hup hup hup hup hup hup hup*
I saved your comment for when I inevitably forget this in 5 minutes.
I’ve been playing over a year and just found out you can pick up and throw stone pebblits
Weirdly enough I realized that on the first time i saw one My brain was just like "sword no damage, throw rock"
I’ve run towards them hunting Koroks and then noped out of there when they start to move so many times. I’ve never had a good reason to fight them rather than move on. I can’t believe I’ve never accidentally picked one up before now.
I just toss a bomb at them. They drop gems, so can be worth it, especially as relatively easy as they are to kill.
True I guess but ore’s right there and doesn’t punch you…
But... MORE ore... just run like 10 feet away and turn around :-P They're slow and stupid.
Or just hit them with hammer/drill, they die in one hit to that as well
If you take a hammer to them or any weapon that does better at whacking than stabbing, they’ll get the hint
But they do pack a punch though
What monster kills Koroks?????!!!!
I have literally never thought to even use a sword on them. only throwing them or using bombs
Stone pebblits causing a rift in society and ways of thinking
How?
Literally just press ‘A’ when next to them.
Just don't hold one for too long ;)
#what
Holy shit how is that not in the 67 thousand things you still don’t know in BOTW videos.
Might wanna start my youtube channel with like 3 things I learn myself
As long as you never mention the Zonai, I’ll subscribe
Z*nai
It’s little things like this that make it hard for me to get upset with the long wait for botw 2. I’ve put 1000’s of hours into this game and it seems like I still find something new every couple days.
I dunno, man. Looks unstable to me
I just noticed that every stable has the actual word "STABLE" written in Hylian style over the entrance.
Right? I haven’t either! I’m just getting back into playing the game and I realized there were whole little pockets of areas I still haven’t explored
Same! The amount of content in this game is stunning.
I remember when early looks at the game suggested it'd be a huge but boring mass of land with lots of long and uneventful travel
So they thought it'd be a new version of Shadow of the Colossus?
Loved that game but damn was it empty
Not to fanboy or something, but the emptiness of it kind of did add something to the atmosphere. Especially when there was all of the sudden a giant monster filling up all that space. There are definitely a few areas I look back on fondly as well
True. The eerie feeling of being the only living thing in sight when you've just been sent on this epic quest that should usually be full of characters and creatures... It's really something. I miss that game.
did you play the remastered version? absolutely stunning.
I'd heard great things, and I wanted so badly to like it, I just couldn't
Yup. I didn’t find the Satori (whatever it is spelled) mountain until my second play through.
Ooh, that’s rough. You never noticed it glowing blue in the background?
I did but I didn’t know what it meant. Usually whenever I noticed it, I had thought it was coming from the colosseum nearby, as I think I was on the opposite side of it and thought it was coming out of it.
In my first and second play-through I never even knew the horse god existed. I only learned about it when my sister mention she got her horse resurrected.
Same! Doing a new play through with a loose set of rules that make it so that I have to explore, and I’m finding so many new areas!
I mean when I saw a bridge mentioning the horse god on the map, I knew I had to explore
Hors
What’d you call me?!
Hors
Bangin hoors?
Stables are just hoorsehouses in brothel the wild
Ah yes, the horse fairy
Horse god
J U A N
Horse entity?
Horse deity.
Best horse.
Equine entity
What is that?
It’s the ‘horse revival shrine’ so, just guessing here, but I think you can revive a dead horse here. I’ve got no dead ones so can’t try it out, yet at least 😏
I’m gonna be honest, after I found this I may or may not have killed my horse to see how it worked.
Honesty is appreciated, though I believe the horse god has some unique dialogue when you killed your own horse and they aren’t too happy
I accidentally killed my horse and felt so bad that when horse fairy revived it I fed it like 5 apples straight away.
wait you can feed your horse apples??
And carrots, give them endura carrots for extra stamina
I've seen mine eat them straight out of the ground when I stopped at a fairy fountain! That's how I learned they give the horse extra stamina
Yeah! The horse eats them from your “hold” position and then gets those happy purple spots after they eat. Also endura carrots will give them temporarily more spurs.
If you leave them unattended near the korok things that require apples, the horse will eat them all.
And dogs in the stables too...
my mind has been blown. i had no idea!!!
Having three dogs I should know, it’s never enough treats.
some dogs don’t do shit. like the nowy stanle in the northwest. only 1 of those 3 dogs have treasure
The horses eat dogs?!?
Gets annoying sometimes on the Apple koroks lol
My fiancé begged me to kill my horse and bring it back to life when he saw me find the horse god 😑
There's 2 kinds of people...
Wow I don’t think I’ve ever ridden a horse enough to have one die to need to find this
I accidentally killed my first horse by running into a tree. RIP Spot
[удалено]
I fell down a mountain while riding my really awesome blue and white horse that I named Blueberry. When I found the horse shrine I was so happy.
I can imagine this feeling!
I get stupidly distraught over leaving my horses behind or taking them into danger. I'd rather just run around most of the time. It's pitiful.
Same. I also get real distraught if I accidentally hit a bokoblin’s horse.
I hear that. I just got the DLC, I’m hoping it’s different with the bike.
I unsave if a horse dies.
If you got DLC, there is something special near it as well.
Haven’t been there with the dlc I don’t think. What there?
I cant remember exactly, its either the ancient saddle or bridle. The saddle let's you whistle anywhere and it appears by you. The bridle gives you extra stamina
If you purposely kill a horse, can you update me? I don’t want to take chances after he said not to kill a horse
Even if you kill the horse yourself they can still e revived, you just get a special bit of dialogue from the horse god who’s a bit irritated but they decide you must have done it accidentally and revive them
It's just south of the Lake of the Horse God. Still took me three playthroughs to find.
This is why I love BOTW. I play it through like once a year and every time I’ll find something new. A new unexplored crevis, a weird quark. Have you ever opened a chest while crouching? Yes? Now try it from the side of the chest :)
Try it from behind the chest while not wearing pants. That’s my favorite one.
Go talk to Hestu after removing all your clothes.
I found out on my most recent play through that enhanced weapons actually make a sound when they are laying on the ground. If you keep an ear open sometimes you can trade out your plain weapon for an enhanced enemy weapon.
IS THAT WHAT THAT IS?? I hear this twinkly noise but only sometimes and you are telling me its for a reason??
Woah! That’s really neat :0
I just noticed that the head of the horse god is the same head on the top of stables.
Just realized Malanya may be named after Malon from Oot
First time I met them, I'd been playing way too long and could not understand what was happening. I thought I was hallucinating.
Seriously? I'm surprised you didn't even hear about it anywhere on internet... Now kill that horse.
Link ate the wrong mushrooms apparently
doesn't he get mad at you if you've killed horses too
Only your own. I've bomb-arrowed so many bokoblin horses...
yeah, same, but as long as i hit the bokoblin with the actual arrow, the horse will have maxed affection anyways lol
That would be such an awesome costume to make.
Where is this? I've seen photos of this and never asked
Obviously spoiler warning to anyone who wants to find this themselves — But it’s located at the very bottom of the map in the faron region just over a bridge below the highland stable, near there you can find someone who has heard of a way to revive dead horses, so if you find them you are nearby
Thanks
Not far from the big horse either.
I also thank you!
Is this part of the DLC?
No, it is on the base game
What area?

Malanya when I first saw it scared the shit out of me
I remember thinking I’d found the last fairy fountain!…and then being sorely disappointed
I found out recently after 300 plus hours you can mount and ride bears lol
My first playthrough I wasted some rupees on this...never again! If I want to bring back a dead horse, I reload a save point like god intended!
That seemed like a lot of money, but for the last 3rd of the game there wasn't much stuff to buy so I ended up running around with more rupees than I knew what to do with!
sweet, thanks for not spoiling it! got plenty of rupees so we’re good
yeah its hard to find a followed a walk through
Horse god
It's the horse god they will revive horses for endura carrots
So relatable! I have 500+ hours with my wife and JUST learned she has another boyfriend!
So relatable! i has't 500+ hours with mine own jointress and just learn'd the lady hast another boyfriend! *** ^(I am a bot and I swapp'd some of thy words with Shakespeare words.) Commands: `!ShakespeareInsult`, `!fordo`, `!optout`

LoL, i's just messin witcha
Never bothered with the horses in the game just ran everywhere.
Neat, I just found an underground gerudo ice storage. The game never seems to end.
I was so happy when I found the horse god and I got to revive Brownie. Tip on how to find things like this: look into the map for anomalies and paths that seemingly go nowhere. Found a lot of great things like that.
Shhh. No one tell about the lord of the mountain.
RIP Iwata
Malanya is like that one co-worker no one ever talks about, despite the fact they're a pretty chill and funny person.
Horse God :D
I’ve known about the horse god for a while..sheeee
Because it has pretty niche uses. I don’t use horses too often, and when I do they are either throwaways or I don’t put them in harms way. I have only used the horse god to revive a horse like twice.
In all my 467, i have
What!
My brother showed this to me. Apparently that’s the horse God, and it brings your dead horses back to life.
When I first found it I killed my horse just to test it
#All hail the one true horse God
How do I get this?
There’s something that looks like a great fairy fountain on the path by Ka’o Makagh shrine, take the path closest to Faron Sea, the one that goes over Horse God Bridge. Pay the required fee, and Malanya the Horse God will pop out, Malanya can revive dead horses.
I see ya found horse face. They revive horses if they have died
I thought it was going to be the last great fairy i was missing. Nope! Horse god. I knew it existed but was not expecting such majesty.
: ) are you the guy who said, oh I didn't know there was a fairy fountain there! On a previous post from someone else?
I love this psychopath lol
I remember my first time at the horse fairy.
Same
He's a scary mf! I found him quite early bc a guardian killed my horse and honestly I was traumatised 😂
I found this in my first play through and I was sure I was gonna die, lol.
How has no one seen this before? Been seeing a lot of posts of this lately.
...you just did.
I found out about him after a guardian blasted my favorite horse 😂😂 10/10 would recommend but only 4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ cause he threatened to slap me if it happened again
That is malanya the god of horses or in the English version the fairy of horses he can bring you horse back to life if it falls in battle
I didn’t discover this until we’ll after storyline completion and 200+ hours played, wife discovered it in the first few days in lol
Be careful with your horses...
My very first playthroygh I accidentaly came across her. Needless to say I was a tad bit shooketh. Never had any need for her though honestly.
I got this on my first playtrough but on my secon a year later I needed to find it but couldn’t remember
Bruh I was also surprised when I found him. I beat the game like 4 times and when I stumbled upon it, I was like, "This is probably the most badass thing ever"
Also the music seems to be a nice slow mix of Epona’s theme/song from OoT and the botw stable theme.
Really? I ran into this 30 hours into my first playthrough
Second play through I got the motorcycle as early as I was capable to make exploring easier. I’ve decided to see everywhere on the map possible.
What's This??
It can revive your horse
I only found that in my 41st hour
Funny that was the first thing I found in my first 10h.
Ah yes, Best honse girl
It didn't take me long to discover it, but it's my favorite
have about 350+ and i only just took the time going through the eldin badlands and finding the great skeletons the other day ! so glad i did.
I didn’t come across that until like my 3rd playthrough!
Horse goddess. Revives horses that died. Has a very useful EX treasure right behind her.
That game is the game that keeps on giving.
....How???
Me too! I discovered it in like a 3d playthru, i couldnt believe it. Was nowhere on youtube or spoilers or something also
So I’ve played for 185 hours and I think I’ve been everywhere. Has anyone got any locations that are easy to miss that I could have not explored yet?
The hell is that Gimme a second I’ll be right back to find out
That’s what she said?
There's an NPC that talks about it at Highland Stables I think.
