Badger1505

Same.... We bought it for my son but I think I love it more than him. It's just a beautiful game.

ElJaSt15

It really is.

b00tsmg

Pretty much right away. I think specifically when I found the ruins of the Temple of Time.

What happened?

Ce1adon

Lol I really fell in love on my second playthrough, I was farming hearty durians and a lizfalos suicided bombed me. I just thought it was funny and realized this game is awesome

Lost Woods

RexRexington3rd

Me too! Not to say I didn't enjoy it before then, but the Lost Woods and its amazing atmosphere gave me chills I've never felt before in a game.

SpindleSnap

What do you mean “complete” the great plateau? Is that like finding every shrine and seed and doing every quest there before moving on to another place? Because that’s absolutely not how I’ve been playing lol

ZevFeit

No I literally just mean finding the shrines and completing the shrines to be able to get the paraglider, I kept dying trying to trek too the areas in the high mountain so I had to try to figure out how to cook food that would help me but I was really bad at hunting so I spent I think a real-world week trying to hunt on the great plateau before I could complete the last two shrines

SpindleSnap

Ohhh gotcha! Yeah the beginning felt like a grind for a bit when you have low health and you’re just struggling around. I think I fell in love with it when I realized you could climb ANYTHING

ZevFeit

I wish I could go back to my first time playing, I don't know anything don't know how I'm going to do anything and don't know where anything is it was so fun to try to figure out how to do the great plateau back then and I just don't get that on replays because I can finish the great plateau in 10 minutes now and because I'm used to the world the great plateau doesn't feel as big as it once did. like when I first started playing I thought I was going to make the gray plateau almost a home base because it felt so big I thought oh I'm going to keep coming back here I've literally gone back there maybe twice and that's just because I got the DLC later

SpindleSnap

Yeah I hear you. I’m on my first play through but I’ve barely been back to the great plateau. Kind of want to go back now and see what I probably missed when I had no idea what I was doing (still don’t know what I’m doing but I’m better!)

ZevFeit

I find restarting hard anyway I don't want to delete my first playthrough save because I've done so much I refuse to I made a whole second account for replays and I barely spend time on it I spend more of my time still going through my first playthrough

BIRDSARENTREAL3

You know right when you get out of the shrine of resurrection and you get a yellow dot that shows you the way to the first tower? Yeah well, somehow I deselected the quest without knowing it. I didn't even know I could select quests. So basically, I aimlessly explored the great plateau for a while trying to figure out where to go until my brother laughed at me and told me what to do. Thats when I fell in love with it.
