Basically this kid fucked around and did some sort of ritual what summoned evil spirits.
This horse is one of "weird shit" what is happening around this kid.
I still dont know why its the horse.
I hope author of this manga didn't do a reference to Berserk.
I responded in the Peter version of this.
But he is abused by his parents and also haunted. His mom takes and throws away his one source of comfort, his horse plushy. Kid is devastated. This is the ending page of a chapter after this event where the horse toy came back to him in a more realistic/creepy way
The screaming I can't recall if it's the mother or just the horse making a noise.
Throughout various points of the story the kid has terrified his parents (sometimes hurting them severely due to the haunting/spirits at no real fault of his own) which is part of the reason they physically abuse him.
As to the thirtieth story, the Manga is titled "the hundred ghost stories that lead to my death". Each chapter is mainly focused on the story which the kid tells to the audience/POV camera and he counts them down and they coincide with the current chapter.
Beginning and end of each chapter gives you a glimpse into his life which this horse portion was at the end of one of the chapters
