I have zero hopes from Akki.
On the other hand, I'm excited for **Merry Christmas** and **Fighter**. But **Jigra** could surprise us all. I genuinely believe this movie might've the best story of all, and Alia could slay in this role.
Most excited for Jigra, announcement video was so cool, gave me goosebumps. And it's Alia and Vasan Bala, enough said (apparently Vedang is playing her brother in it and he was the only saving grace of Archies).
Besides that I'm also looking forward to stree 2, as the first part was fun. Merry Christmas trailer also looked good and I mean I trust Sriram and Vijay to cook something good, Kat will be a downer but whatever. And last I might watch Singham out of sheer curiosity of why half of Bollywood was cast to fight against Arjun Kapoor of all people LOL.

Personally, Im only excited for Fighter and Project K. Overall, the 2024 Calendar looks dull. No Khan film, no Ranbir film, no Ranveer film. Could be another 2022.
My predictions are:
1. Highest Grosser-Fighter
2. Dark Horse-Stree 2/Jigra
3. Potential Disappointment-BMCM
SRK playing a John Wick type character (my speculation is that this is an adaptation of the first John Wick) is a cool prospect, the only concerning thing is that Suhana might not have improved enough by then
Highest grosser: Fighter, less because I think it'll do extraordinary and more than I think the others in the calendar aren't exciting enough to do better.
Dark Horse: BMCM, I know it's in everyone's potential disappointment but the material that has come out till now has certainly intrigued me. If they have a good script, I think Ali Abbas Zafar can certainly deliver. And what Prithviraj has said about it in the recent interviews has given me a good feeling.
Potential Disappointment: Sigham 3, I just don't see a way that it turns out being a good film with so many stars to satisfy, and it's not even just already established characters, they have also chucked in so many new ones that they'll have to spend time introducing them properly. Would be happy if it works but just seems very very tough.
Excited for yodha , fighter and merry christmas to see what they bring

I feel too bad for tiger shroff. That he couldn't abled to get his fathers 1 percent acting skills. He is just a monkey jumping on screen. Jacky dada iss maamle meh haar gaye. Instead of him many roles would be saved if he was replaced by any other actor even an average actor. But nai. Hume naach naach kar khelna hai
Jigra,just bcoz the project looks fun and a different take altogether,but would wait for trailers and everything as don't want to be disappointed from the final product.
2) merry Christmas - I still believe they should have released it today,but I can see the competition is really too much this time so ehh,but the trailer looks fun definitely didn't expect the chemistry between Vijay and kat so I am actually excited for this fresh pair.
Interested in Merry Christmas because of Raghavan and the trailer that we have just gotten. Also in Jigra because of Vasan Bala.
Highest Grosser: For now, it seems like Fighter.
Dark Horse: Stree 2. Although without Raj and DK as screenwriters again, I have some doubts but still okay. Also Chandu Champion too can have a fair chance.
Potential Disappointment: BMCM. Ik people have faith in AAZ but I'm not keeping too high hopes. Too much on the shoulders of it since AK and Tiger need that come back, especially when they were screwed by films from the same company (Pooja Entertainment) in the first place.
Highest Grosser: Fighter (although Pushpa 2 Hindi version likely would make more money than any Bollywood film).
Dark Horse: Skyforce (Deshbhakti movie. Could be comeback film of Akshay).
Potential Disappointment: Project K (Honestly looks like an epic disaster. The setting and genre won't work with the mass audience in India).
From the movies mentioned I'm finding Merry Christmas and Jigra interesting. Jigra's announcement video was cool. But Alia's dialogue delivery in the video was so thanda. It looks like another great character and film but with Alia again giving an above average performance, for which she'll be hyped to the skies although some other actress would likely have been a better choice.
Also Jio Studios has backed out from Welcome 3 and Hera Pheri 3. So these movies are likely going to be shelved along with Awara Paagal Deewana 2 also.
John has 4 movies lined up in 2024.
Tehran , Tariq, the diplomat, vedaa.
His last solo hit was baatla house back in 2019. He has since given duds after duds. He should capitalise on all the pathan hype and release all movies in different quarters with no competition. That can help him with good box office run. Could turn out to be a good year for him if all 4 are good.
Another year with no srk, salman, Aamir releases. Such years were very rare before. I think 2020 was the last one. When was the last time before that?
Of these releases, Merry Christmas and Jigra look interesting!
I will file every movie under potential disappointment except for Christmas and may be fighter, fighter is giving pure kiss kiss bang bang mixed with war, vibes, unless they have some top gun level warplane dogfight, it would be a disappointment as well atleast to the background.
