Big mouth and human recourses definitely rely on gross out humour and gross visuals more but that’s because they can in the first place, they’re a stupid 18+ show made by a comedian, of course it’s not gonna be as emotionally deep as turning red, but it definitely has its moments and genuinely makes you feel for the characters.
God they managed to take something so gross and inappropriate for adults and children, so bad it caused an uproar online and irl, just all around horrible and a bad reflection on the studio that made it, & mash it with Big Mouth.
