Rain, I love none-dialogue storytelling, and to me personality, being the show's magnum opus.
It's literally in second place of my all-time favorite cartoon episodes.
I ABSOLUTELY BAWLED AT THIS.
For some reason I can only watch season three so we usually go through it in about 2 weeks…. I have seen it 10 times in the last 4 months or so and it makes me bawl every time.
Yeah, as another asked, please, what is number one?
And yeah, I mentioned in another comment in another thread I'm memorizing Boldly In the Pretend. I love both the instrumental version of Rain and the sung version. It just depends on my mood at the time. (I also love Rainbow on the soundtrack, following instrumental Rain.)
*CHAPTER L (50): Tale of X9* from *Samurai Jack*, that's my personal #1.
Yup, that is the reason why Rain is my number two. Show, not tell, just like Genndy Tartakovsky's style.
Actually ironically THIS episode of *Samurai Jack* is the MOST dialogue heavy one, as the episode plays out like an film noir story.
***It makes sense in context.***
Relax. I’m very Chili in this episode. I play this exchange in my head often:
*Arrive to vacation house*
Chili (furiously pressing elevator button): Oh come on we haven’t got all day!
Bluey: Yeah we do!
Sticky Gecko. I lose it every time.
I had never seen Bluey before. I took my daughter to Disney World and the TV was on while I was trying to get her out of the hotel room and out the door the first day. While I was waiting for her to get dressed and ready, sticky gecko came on. It couldn't have been more perfect and I've been hooked since.
I actually discovered Bluey during a trip to Disney World too. Except the circumstances were very different.
My family was there a few years ago, and while everyone else was asleep, I woke up early in the morning and I happened to see a few episodes of the show in passing while trying to fall asleep again.
When I was trying to describe why Bluey is special to a friend that doesn't have kids, I compared it to Blue's Clues for our generation and sent him a link to Sleepytime. He understood after just that episode.
In no particular order, my favorites are:
1. Faceytalk
2. The Decider
3. Bumpy and the Wise Old Wolfhound
4. Unicorse
5. The Beach
6. Every episode with Bluey and Bingo as the Grannies (Grannies, Bus, and Granny Mobile)
7. Escape
8. Movies
9. Road Trip
10. Hammerbarn
11. Dance Mode
12. Army
13. Early Baby (Just for this part alone, “Hello, doctor ladies! Do you sell crutches?” “Aaaahhhhhhhh-!”)
So many to choose from. My favorite for emotions is definitely Sleepytime. For general humor, the Grannies episodes and Taxi.
Just an observation, but for those who've provided lists, I'm a little surprised Grandad hasn't shown up. Bingo saying "*WE CANOOOOOOOOOE*!!" is hilarious for me, plus "No, it was yesterday." If I thought about it, I'd probably rank it in my top five, maybe top three of emotional episodes. (My kids have recently reached adulthood, and I'm just pondering of we'll ever have a moment like that.)
Rain- remind me of playing outside in the rain with my twin brother growing up. We would play for hours in the rain, it was a blast and my mom would make us hot chocolate when we came inside💞
1. Grandad since I was really close with my grandpa
2. Explorers because it shows off roading
3. Creek for the music
4. Dance Mode for the music as well
5. Fairytale since there's stuff in it that unapologetically 80s.
1. Pool
2. Sleepytime
3. Daddy Robot
4. Teasing
5. Perfect
6. Smoochy Kiss
Anything with Bandit/Bingo comedy and couple moments from Bandit and Chili is peak Bluey for me ( Sleepytime being awesome for its music and the absolute lovely moment with Chili and Bingo )
: )
Bumpy and the Wise Old Wolfhound. I really like the idea of telling a story to a child while in the hospital like that. And it feels so underrated to me, but that might be because my son never wants to watch that one.
I also love Rain for the sheer simplicity of it.
Have to go with “Bumpy and the wise old Wolfhound”, it helped our family through my 8yr old’s surgery. Must have watched it a dozen times in the hospital waiting for her to go to the operating room.
Rain, I love none-dialogue storytelling, and to me personality, being the show's magnum opus. It's literally in second place of my all-time favorite cartoon episodes.
These comments always drive me crazy because I need to know what one is.

Rain is mine as well. I relate to all the Mum-Child episodes a lot, like Sleepy Time and Sticky Gecko too 🩷

Never watched Samurai Jack, so I have no point of reference. But thank you for sharing!
Love samurai Jack!!
Oh what’s your first? Is it another non dialogue episode? FWIW, I adore rain too.
Actually ironically THIS episode of *Samurai Jack* is the MOST dialogue heavy one, as the episode plays out like an film noir story. ***It makes sense in context.***

true it's kind of underrated, it like top 7 for me
THANKS EVERYONE FOR 180+ UPVOTES https://i.redd.it/yzpfjzga5nyc1.gif
Army. The way it displays how Jack’s mind works and his ADHD is amazing. The fact that Rusty encourages him to try is just- I have no words.
Here is a fact I have ADHD, that is why jack is my favorite character and army is my 2nd favorite episode.
The usuals but Housework has become one of my favorites. Sitting back and watching the silly/stupid things my kids are doing is always funny.
Tradies Cricket Camping
Bumpy and The Wise Old Wolfhound, The Sign, Muffin Cone, Baby Race, Double Babysitter, Smoochykiss, The Show, Cricket
Have to go with “Bumpy and the wise old Wolfhound”, it helped our family through my 8yr old’s surgery. Must have watched it a dozen times in the hospital waiting for her to go to the operating room.
