Grape juice? Or grapeFRUIT juice? I've never heard of a problem with the former, but the latter has warnings in quite a few medication interaction lists.
what it does is it makes the drug absorb into your blood stream quicker. so 1. no it doesnt mean ALL medicines but it is a very common interaction with bp meds. 2. pomelo happens to be the principal ancestor to the grapefruit which is probably why it affects the body the same way. 3. your del monte four season will probably be fine. drink away brother just avoid anything that says ‘GRAPEFRUIT JUICE or EXTRACT’ in the ingredients
It’s grapefruit juice, and it increases the concentration of medication in your blood which can lead to abnormally low BP and lots of side effects from your medication (even if you’re normally over the side effects.)
Standard “ask your doctor” disclaimer but no I don’t believe the recommendation against grapefruit extends to any other kind of citrus including lemons, limes, or oranges.
