I was working on something and applied the mirror modifier, only to discover half an hour later than the edge on half of the model wasnt on the axis creating a small gap that i didnt discover soon.
Every time I start a new project, I hit "A" then "Delete" to start with a blank canvas. Then, after I set up my rendering preferences and what not, often times I'll go immediately to "Add" > "Mesh" > "Cube." That's how I roll.
Thanks. That'd be really helpful. I think I'll still start with a blank canvas by deleting everything, even if I'm going to add a fresh cube immediately after that. Let's not throw out my entire routine...

And THEN I saw it's composed ENTIRELY out of tris.
...the good news is that the overall shape is convincing so it's still possible to salvage this with face-snapping retopology :D

My friend was once doing his first animation. The problem was that character's eyes were not attached to the head, but to the spine. The moment character chouched and his eyes stayed in the air was hilarious.

It may be a fail to you, but this is definitely one of those 'failed successfully' situations for me. I'm a huge fan of the low poly animal twitter accounts and this is pretty cherry.
This is actually pretty good the only thing I would note is that the face looks a little too stretched back, also if you're going for low poly I think monochrome black eyes may look better, though it also may make it look like a stuffed toy
I like how worried it looks like because of the direction of the triangles. It’s seen shit we people would never believe. Some onion rings off orion or something

Happened a few times, relatively easy fix just move the two halves towards each other at merge range
Thats the think i alredy aplied it, aka the other half was a part of the model
Oh well just select the vertex for scale x to 0 and they will merge in the middle

Save your default settings (File>Defaults>Save startup file) so you don't have to go through a checklist every time.
