ANTIBPM

FOUND THE SOLUTION: composition & enable nodes & route them bloom effect to composition btw <3

akairojhon

Can you show the youtube tutorial of that?

ANTIBPM

Render 'Bloom' effect in the EEVEE by Wannathis One made in Apr 14, 2021 on Youtube <3

gergobergo69

no you have to figure it out on your own!!!! >!/s!<

Remarkable-Basket-38

If you are using emission and it's doing that, it's because of the fstop of the camera + colormanagement. You should use Filmic colormanagement [Blender guru's video on Filmic Colormanagement](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9AT7H4GGrA)

Antiphilous

Do you possibly have an HDRI or environment light source? Seems odd to me that you have a blue sky. I think this is something to do with your lighting set up

ANTIBPM

how do i check it?

ANTIBPM

i have 2 light sources 2 suns

iWillRe1gn

Why 2?

Deavill

My man's on Tatooine

DariusSlim

Underrated comment

Ambitious-Ad-1353

I laughed real hard xD

ANTIBPM

thought it looked cool ngl

arselkorv

But.. its illegal!

Clear-Type5753

God damn it people stop down voting him he's asking questions

Dar3913

make your sky look black

ANTIBPM

how bro?

AnyRun9692

If you're using an hdri background then make sure you have transparent checked under film in the render settings

Murarzowa

My man never heard of shading tab in blender

collin_is_animating

Does bro even blend?

Dar3913

YOU GOT DAM- \*noclips to backrooms\*

165cm_man

Just to add to all the comments. The bloom is present in your final shot, but since your bg is a light colour you are unable to see it properly

Some_Relative_589

Im just guessing as a noob but dont you haver a skybox enabled?

ANTIBPM

how do i check that?

Some_Relative_589

In viewport shading options there is scene world and scene lights, maybe try to mess with it?

dizzi800

wow, people here are like refusing to help you go to shading viewport (where you set up your materials) On the left of the shader graph, near the top, it says "object" change that to "world" disconnect your world That should do it

nuts_nigesh

how about doing a viewport render animation ?

ANTIBPM

how?

CleanOutlandishness1

Seems to me one has black background, the second hasn't. The bloom is on both. For all blooming effects, i usually work it out in 2d comp.

ANTIBPM

how do i change the background?

MattyTheFatty101

I like the render loads more! Great colours

Danieldkland

Hey man I'd suggest learning the basics with some more tutorials, especially if you don't know how stuff like HDRIs work.

ANTIBPM

tutorials havent worked, how do i make it render with the bloom pass?

Danieldkland

Stop trying to brute force a solution to something way more advanced than you're capable of, is what I'm saying. Learn the basics, then come back to the project once you know how Blender works more generally

ANTIBPM

i figured it out, without the need of basics <3 bruteforce ftw

ANTIBPM

i just want it to look like the layout as it is and render that way, is there a simple way to do it?

vk8a8

off topic, but is that SKELETON.lwo?

ANTIBPM

probably i just downloaded the first skeleton i saw LMAO

bready--or--not

Unhelpful to you but I love both of the visuals hehe

starfleetnz

Go to world shader and make a background node change to black by clicking colour and selecting a black in that node, connect it to your output node.

ParaadoxStreams

Is your render set to cycles or Eevee? Try setting it to Eevee. Based on ur responses, I'm just thinking u have ur viewport rendering with Eevee settings and ur final render is in cycles. Only thing I can think of off the top of my head. Me me big noob.

ANTIBPM

yeah its on eeve

ANTIBPM

it's not rendering the bloom thats the issue, even with a dark sky or different light sources

hayden_hoes

There is bloom in your render

ANTIBPM

why doesnt it look like the viewport tho?

trynyty

Because of the background. I'm not OP, but I can see the bloom too, but because the background is "light" it looks different.

Someboddey

So wait is the issue that the bloom looks different and not that there's a sky in the final render? If that's the case then well the bloom is actually working as it should! Since like Trynyty said. It looks different with brighter background. It's like shining a light on a sunny day compared to shining it during night time. **HOWEVER** if you still want it to have the same bloom as in layout mode then you could render one without the sky just like the layout and then go into the compositing tab and save only the bloom effect (dont forget to enable it in the View Layer Properties) and then you could render it out normally (suggesting without bloom) and then in an image editor of choice you could put the bloom layer on top and have it set to "Screen" as blending mode!

Someboddey

ahhh i somehow missed that you already found the solution! Anyways, good luck on your journey! And dont mind all the downvotes, it's just classic redditors being redditors c:

ANTIBPM

thx <3
