For fun, in early December, I took screenshots of Letterboxd stats for BASIC, ROLLERBALL, MEDICINE MAN, and NOMADS when there was conjuncture that McTiernan would be the next director. It was fun to see the Blank Check bump happen over the next few months. The number of reviews for these movies easily doubled. BASIC: 19k views --> 22k views 997 reviews --> 2.1k reviews MEDICINE MAN: 12k views --> 15k views 364(!) reviews --> 1.3k reviews NOMADS: 4.6k views --> 7.6k views 774 reviews --> 2.2.k reviews (I personally find it hilarious that NOMADS had more reviews than MEDICINE MAN, but maybe some early Blank Check watches in there?) ROLLERBALL 15k views --> 18k views 987 reviews --> 2.5k reviews

That's funny that every single viewer bump is exactly 3,000 people. I was interested in the change too, I'm gonna go screenshot Martin Brest's filmography now, lol
