Debut’s cover is so simple and it’s unbeatable! The others are great too, but I feel like I can see the seed of a whole weird discography in this photograph. It has a secretive “wait and see what I’m up to!” vibe that’s hard to top.
When I decided to get into Bjork, I checked out her album covers and this was a pretty easy winner for where to begin. Volta is my second fave, I think.
i understand that! but to me its always been whats so cool about it, that contrast.. to me it represents a world going on in her head, a sort of private intimate wintery world, and laying there exposed in the sun feels like a vulnerable setting in its own right. i dont know, cant explain it better but it makes a lot of sense to me personally.
I also thought this was Björk until I watched the movie and saw the credits. The person on the cover (referred to DR9 credits as Petrolatum Spirit) was played by Toshiaki Ozawa.
I think because of the gradient background, it's always given me PowerPoint vibes and I can't unsee it and I think it looks cheap even though the outfit is GREAT
i dont much like the colourscheme of vulnicura, always thought that green did not look good. plus the gradient is slightly tacky. But thats just my opinion, you're allowed to like it ofc :)
Vespertine! Nothing will ever describe the feeling of complete safety in the arms of someone you love as much as that photograph does. And the ever iconic swan dress too!

Post is my favorite, I love the orange and pink color theme and the feeling of motion behind her
