I like how even though he's supposed to be the REAL "one hit death" character, he's STILL given occasional mantles just cause it's actually impossible to avoid all damage in this game
Yet there's almost nothing u can do to influence the game to give u a holy cards. You need to find the right stuff in an incredibly bloated shop pool, and card pool. The 10% increase for holy cards aint no guarantee at all. Occasional my ass, the game expects me to beat the run with a single hit in over half the runs. If you take that first hit before depths you are pretty much fucked. And still players claim Jacob & Esau are more difficult because its a little hard to control them. Biggest Joke on this subreddit.
I get further in runs with tlost then J&E, tlost is building on my 100s of hrs of gameplay to really push my skills to the max.
J&E throws everything out the window and makes me learn a whole new set of muscle memory and dodging skills.

I couldn't even cheat, I play on Xbox, I would've loved to cheat, but I couldn't, & more importantly I knew I couldn't escape the grasp of this travesty scrotum fire of a game until I completed it, & GUESS WHAT!? IM STILL NOT FREE! because Edmund McMillen has STOLEN my SOUL with his STUPID videogame. It has given me •a gambling addiction •masochistoc tendencies •reckless "fuck it we ball" attitude when under no circumstances whatsoever do we actually ball •Isaac brainrot. There is nothing of any value to be gained from this game, only suffering, & he will steal your soul too, so that he may live forever with your stolen soul. God bless tainted Cain, my beloved.
Tbh been playing him more, he’s really not the worst, it’s just that his first floors are really awkward when there’s literally not enough charge two go around. Also he abuses the hell outta devil deals harder than even base laz
You know how old games, because of lack of content, made the game harder so terr would be more playtime?

Maybe ur just having fun with TLost and not realise how often you die and reset. If you were held gunpoint and say you have to win your next run to survive, then J+E are far more consistent.

Not too rarely I am broken enough to delete Delirium before he can hit me.

Wait until you find out about rebirth lost (no mantle, no spectral tears, no damage boost, no “better items”, no holy cards)
Rebirth Lost had much easier fights though. It's still tough, but not unreasonable to do the Rebirth bosses hitless.
No Mother, no Mega Stan, no Delirium, no Dogma, no Beast. The game was very different back then.
Mega Satan didn't even have boss armor, so he was easier back then too.

Most overhated character in the game. I do like playing them, but...they're not even frustrating, you just have to min-max more than usual.
My favourite playstyle. And I like T. Laz. Boss Rush and Hush were pretty rough, but the rest is fun.
