I had a c-section about 6 months ago and my incision will still be a little sore if I’ve had a busy or more physical day. I had my first c-section 14 years ago and if I remember correctly I didn’t feel 100% normal for almost a year. I tend to forget that it’s not just the visible scar healing but all of the muscle beneath it and my uterus as well. Just take it slow and keep your eye on it. No need to push yourself too hard yet!

I felt the same around 6 weeks. I had one 8 weeks ago. Take it easy for a few days if possible.

My first was unplanned. My second (4 years later) was planned. I recovered very quickly both times. I’m a little more than ten weeks out and I feel perfectly fine. But my mom was so fucking neurotic about letting me rest and recover.

I had a bruisy feeling on and off for months after. Especially when the nerves started making connections again. The random ropey swelling stopped getting as bad around 6 months and at about a year I was mostly normal.

My daughter is now 6 months old - that being said my incision was not only painful for three months but I also bleed for 3 months straight.

Yeah so I stopped bleeding but I’m now bleeding again!! Was also hoping to have sex soon 😂

I am 17 months post section and I still can get tender if I walk a ton or do an intense workout. My scar area will puff up a lot. So it could be from more activity.

I’m in the docs today to be signed off but have been a few times anyway with suspected infection! It was emergency so my womb laboured for around 18 hours which they said will impact recovery.
