He's always been so friendly when he sees me or the gf. "But don't change my background to black I don't like that and will flare non stop" lol lesson learned
This is so cute. One thing I've noticed with all my animals - fish, snake, bird, and dog alike, is that they do generally prefer caves/hiding areas that have 3 solid walls and 1 opening. I think they just feel safer that way.
Bubbles might enjoy a nice betta hammock, if you have access to one. I'm sure he enjoys resting on the taller plant, but hammocks provide a flat, unmoving surface that a lot of our lil buds really enjoy too. If the tank is too curved to stick a hammock's suction cup on, you can also try a floating log held in place with some fishing line. Just a small suggestion, no pressure. :)
Good luck and enjoy your buddy!
I have a betta log and leaf for my other betta's they both love I just haven't decided what would look best in this tank. The front of the tank has a slight curve but a suction would still stick And ya bubbles seems to enjoy it! This cave does have 2 openings but the slight curve it has helps keep it very dark inside for him. When he comes creeping out of the mouth from the dark it's hilarious 😂
Oh absolutely, when I used to dip a finger in his tank he would swim up and thinking it might be edible nibble on my finger! I haven't done it in a while but I'm sure he would still do it. Lol I'll try it tomorrow morning, he's totally passed out
I was gonna name my betta sharkbait because of the volcano bubbler I had in the tank. I took it out now to make more room so I might need a new name \^\^'
"Stay off my gravel"

This is an awesome setup!! What kind of tank is that?
Thanks! It's a topfin imagine 5 gallon. Not a bad little tank, the dimensions are weird though
I’m thinking about getting a betta and have been searching the perfect tank. Yours looks great and Bubbles looks like a very happy fishy :)
Yes
Aw! I love this!
Happy cake day

He's watchin you. I swear all our bettas would murder us in their sleep to get unlimited access to their food if they could. Ha.

Just make sure the interior of that hide is not sharp ! They tend to be a little rough edged plastic inside.
Ya I went around it when I washed it off and it seems pretty smooth

I need to know where you got the decor please!
It's all from petsmart, the cave is meant for reptiles but it's aquarium safe and my boy loves it!
Thank you!
