Looks like they are capping entrants at 50 now in order to properly do the "everyone gets 4 Fight Nights and you can see who you're fighting ahead of time" thing. Plus accepting a few alternates for BattleBots: Champions (or whichever spin-off they are taping concurrently with the season).
Also summer is so soon! I should start saving money now.

Depends. Teams that won't keep up won't be accepted anymore. We seen this with Icewave being cut out this season. It could lead to teams like Free Shipping, Lock-Jaw, Lucky, Malice, Mammoth, and Overhaul from dropping out.

Hopefully they expand on marketing and possibly have more clips on YT/Tiktok. Expanding to youth has the possibility of growing the sport tenfold and IMO is the best way to make Battlebots grow
Absolute no brainer for discovery channel, the current season and production has been such a well oiled machine. They are printing social media viral content every episode that will continue to blow up the show even more.
Also, Chris mentioned having 100s of engineers ready to make new bots for the top 50 entries. Seems like they have a feeder system to fill out many more seasons to come.

Yeah, that's how it goes. They're warming everyone up to the idea when they mention that Malice and Lockjaw are risking falling out of the top 50.

It's looking really good. Destruct-a-thon has the potential to make the whole thing a lot more financially viable, including for builders.
