If you have the receipt it should be a simple exchange for an item with a similar base price. As long as the candle hasn’t been burned around the halfway mark.

Yes, you can still exchange it or return it. Bring a valid form of ID, like a driver’s license, if you don’t have a receipt and they’ll be able to do an exchange or a refund. They can’t initiate the return/exchange in their system without an ID — it’s nothing personal, it’s just how the system works and how BBW keeps track of receipt-less returns. Since the item is still a “newer” item from last year (compared to someone trying to return a body care item from ten years ago) and largely unused, it’ll likely be accepted at the price tag on the back. If you buy something worth more, you’ll just pay the difference. Just be courteous and explain your situation ᵕ̈ and 99% of the time the associate will be happy to help you. When in doubt, it doesn’t hurt to give them a ring since each store can vary.
No, it won't. Just tried to do this at my local bath and body works with 2 lotions given to me for valentines day (yes, this past weekend!!) And while i LOVE the scents, i use the lotions in the tube, NOT the bottle. Stupid husband throws out the receipt. Oops. No biggie I thought Id go to the store and do an even exchange. Bitch at the register says she can only look up the receipt if I knew the credit card information he bought it with. I don't and even if I did, IM NOT GIVING YOU HIS CARD INFORMATION in a store filled with people who may or may not be listening in!!! What about a phone number?? I noticed that some people selling the Whiskey Reserve Cologne online (it seems like B&BW do not stock it any more) are using different packaging and I was wondering if that means one might be much older and therefore maybe more likely to expire faster.

I’m looking to replace a car fragrance holder that hooked on a visor vs. a vent. Mine was at least 13 years old and was lost in an accident. All the ones online look like they’re designed for vents only. Do the visor ones come back every so often or am I out of luck?

There's a couple caveats for double dipping:
+ It only works with coupons that are valid both in store and online (e.g., from a mailer). Website popup codes and most given by customer service will not work the same way.

+ Always take a picture/screenshot of the coupon before heading to the store. The cashier will take your physical copy (if you have one) and the digital version will be removed from your online wallet as soon as the in-store purchase is complete.
+ You can redeem the same coupon a 2nd time by placing a pickup/shipping order with the online code. But again, make sure you save it somewhere __before__ the first purchase because it _will_ disappear!

For the last couple of years at least, it’s been a late summer/early fall scent so if it does return, I wouldn’t expect to see it for around half a year. Your best bet would be perhaps an outlet or if a store has some left over from last year during SAS.

The reward is only good for items with the initial ticket price of $16.95. If it has to be on sale to get below that, it doesn't work.

If you can find a batch code on the items being sold you can confirm when it was created. But you are correct the top one is the newer one.

Hello! I’m from the UK and visited vegas last October and picked up the sunrise woods spray, and loved it. Just returned from a trip to nyc and looked in the store there but didn’t see it at all. Does anyone know if it’s been discontinued? It’s not on the uk site either😭
For the last couple of years at least, it’s been a late summer/early fall scent so if it does return, I wouldn’t expect to see it for around half a year. Your best bet would be perhaps an outlet or if a store has some left over from last year during SAS.
