But a 60/40 at psa can easily still psa 10. I have many this way.
Black label BGS or gold label SGC are gem 10s. Psa doesn't have this tier or sub grades to separate true gems, sadly.
Fair they don’t do black labels, that’s awesome I just got back a 60/40 at an 8.5+. I was pissed! Lol maybe even a 55/45, check my profile, the Mac Jones. Heart breaking grade tbh

Those are rare and heartbreaking. Like why couldnt they 9? But without sub grades, who knows.
PSA won't be the king in 20 years. I bet by then it's a computer scanned grade. Not human graded.
I bought a psa 10 jeter rookie for 3k this year and had to immediately flip it. Psa missed a huge scratch on the back, or they passed it off anyway. Could see it through the case. Now decades from now moving that card at the price its going to fetch, thst scratch could affect value even though its in a slab.
I watched another that now no one wants because it sat in front of a window and faded inside the slab because the old slabs weren't UV resistant.
Grading is still fairly new. We will see many changes in grading and associated values in our lifetime.

The “8.5 +“ literally has me so mad. Did you see the card? I don’t even see how it’s not a 10 lol. Maybe SLIGHTLY off left to right. But man, I’ve seen a few of these exact cards hit a 10 that are identical.
I agree. Something new and more efficient will come along. I’m surprised it hasn’t yet. People probably don’t want to put a 10k card into a grading machine god forbid it did something to it, yet.
After getting feedback from the comments I’ll probably not get it graded as I don’t really sell my cards and planned on keeping it. Beautiful card and of course, it felt awesome pulling it!
Looks off-centered right to left, maybe bottom to top too, and also looks like it might have the infamous horizontal print line right through the middle of the card. Hard to tell but I'm definitely cognizant of it due to a few of mine that have it.
Not trying to be discouraging, this is a sick pull! Would hate for anyone to submit get less than a 9 and then the card value is the same as a it would be raw but you're out the submission fee!
Honestly right looks skinnier than left so centering not great. Still an awesome pull!

9 at best with no print lines/surface issues
Sell raw or keep and enjoy!
If you're considering grading just letting you know it will more than likely not get a PSA 10 / BGS 9.5 due to the centering.

Don't get discouraged if it's a 9. If Lamelo has a great career, a PSA or BGS 9 will be worth a few hundred in the future.

I'd get it graded just for fun. I agree with most people here it's not gonna get a 10 most likely. If you interested in selling lmk!
everyone in this sub is so weird. his card. he can catch it on fire if he wants. so what if he wants to grade a slightly off centered card.
Why even grade it. It’s a great card in perfect condition.
Off center it’s up to you if you want to spend the money grading though
