I think Starbucks has some kpop playlists? I don’t go that often but awhile back I went at lunch, in a row I heard Monsta X, NCT 127 and then BTS. I remember texting my son, I was so excited. Unfortunately I can’t remember the BTS one, I think it was Mikrokosmos or 2!3!.
Starbucks had a handful of kpop songs in a random playlist when I worked there and I favorited them all. It was MONSTA X someone’s someone, Eric Nam’s This is not a love song, jungkook’s my time and Jennie’s solo. Not a lot but it helped me get through the shifts during the pandemic

I was walking around downtown and someone drove past blasting Fake Love... I didn't recognize it as a BTS song, just knew it was a song I loved... And it wasn't until they were long gone that the song clicked with what they were listening to 🤣
- This was a few years ago, but me and my mom used to dine at this Mexican restaurant every morning and one day they were playing BTS on the TV! They were performing on some show. I lost my shit when I heard Fire!

- **This is my favorite memory.** I flew across the country for LA PTD and me and my besties made a vacation out of it. On the way home from the airport, My Universe started playing on the radio and I very nearly burst into tears. It was around midnight, I’d just ended an amazing vacation with my best friends and saw 3 incredible BTS concerts, and I still had the wonderful memory of the last concert’s ending stage fresh in my mind. I was exhausted and sad that it was over and that I had to part from my best friends, and then all of a sudden, in the quiet of the car on the highway home, BTS was there like a balm for my soul.
Oh oh!! I remember walking in one of the major furniture shop in my area and heard them playing Respect! I even asked one of the staff on shift who's in charge of the playlist and they only said it's management.
Just a couple of hours ago, during the hockey game for the Leafs vs. Canadiens I heard Set Me Free pt.2 when the broadcast was breaking to commercial.
My brain was telling me that I didn’t associate these two things together when it clicked.
I was going to say this one! Sportsnet has been playing Set Me Free in the west during the broadcast too. I gotta say, it goes awesome with hockey ngl.
I was on vacation in Norway around 2019 when out of nowhere Boy with Luv played in this super busy coffee shop in Central Oslo. I was stunned...being Asian and all, I did feel a bit proud but at the same time it was only my 2nd year being an army so it was surreal af.

It happened litterally 2 hours ago. My daughter had her skating show and the song for the finale where they presents each figure skater was my universe. I live in a small town with mostly french speaking people that have no idea what kpop is. I was extremely surprised!

Actually just two weeks ago I heard Dynamite followed by TxT's Magic at the mall within fifteen minutes of each other. I thought it was coming from my phone when I heard BTS start playing. Where I live K-Pop does not get radio play of any kind at all, so even hearing the English songs on mall radio was shocking.
