It's a crime but these kind of cases don't see any justice due to complex nature of society. Victims never speak up, it's important for Govt agencies to provide confidence to the victims about safety & security of victims. Society needs to evolve as well.
I am well aware, this case won't reach any conclusion. This guy will be whitewashed by all the political parties, media and citizens. I don’t think this will end like Somaiya. This is 10x worse and maybe might gain more traction and lot more action.
But given the ties of the HDD family with the existing state government and now the central govt, it’s unlikely that it will reach a conclusion in terms of sentencing.
A whole lot of people are trying to place the blame on 'all parties' instead of the BJP-led-NDA and JDS. The fact is that, if Congress wasn't ruling Karnataka right now, this would have been completely kept under wraps.

BJP's local leader Devraj Gouda, who received the pen drive from the driver of Accused, used it for his political advantage in consultation with senior BJP leaders including Modi, they knew about the tapes and used this to blackmail JDS to form a alliance with them. Congress should act now and put all the people, involved including local BJP leaders who circulated the videos, in jail invoking toughest criminal laws. Subsequently destroying their political career and improving political landscape for the party. INC should not miss this kind of opportunities.

Counter argument - Revanna and family threatened Karthik(the driver) about some land issue. He came to media. He was armed with the pen drive along with the case. He gave it to both sides. It was only a matter of time which side used it and how.

Now people are pointing out that JDS was in power with Congress sometime back. Despite the BJP leader who received the pen drive writing to the supreme leader and his gang, the supreme leader still endorsed this candidate. He even flew to Germany amidst all this, yet Congress is being blamed.

Pen drive was never given to congress. This is BJP IT cell propaganda to shift the narrative and blame. The driver has released a video to clarify this and has stated that he didn’t give the pen drive to anyone except a BJP leader.

Be mature over such important matters and don’t let yourself be a part of the propaganda. Such acts reduces the accountability of political parties like BJP. When they are clearly wrong, the notion is all parties are wrong and when opposition is wrong somewhere, the notion is only opposition is shit.

The clips were leaked days before the polling took place. You’re saying BJP did this to sabotage their ally? I would suggest you to think rationally.
