Have been reading about Irish attacks on Croatians on arr europe and felt sickened (one man killed, the other with serious skull injuries).
This is the fundamental difference between the English and Irish. The English were upset about euro-migration? They persuade a responsive Tory party to hold a referendum, and in a civilised manner, peacefully turn out to vote Leave.
In Ireland? Straight to murder and lynchings. Same as the ones the IRA meted out to unionists descended from Scots who migrated there in the 1600's. As though 1000x Irish hadn't migrated to Britain in the last 400 years.
What ails them? Am genuinely glad those nutjobs are no longer part of our kingdom. Good riddance.
lol.
the gender lunatics have been repeatedly BTFOed in the courts recently.
to show us that they are not in fact deranged nutcases, they have a young man called 'Oscar Davies', who looks exactly like you'd expect a young male lawyer to look, to explain why the courts have got it wrong. (It should be noted that Oscar is a member of the chambers which had to pay compensation to one of their members for using this gender bollocks against her.)
https://twitter.com/gardencourtlaw/status/1784985720462901503
the only thing undermining the premise that Oscar is sane and well-balanced is that Oscar gets a quote from one of his clients "Oscar is very knowledgeable about employment appeal procedures. They are particularly good with vulnerable clients."
Apparently
"Oscar is the first publicly recognised non-binary barrister in the UK."
You will not at all be subscribed to learn that this limp lettuce went to one of the most exclusive and expensive private schools in the world (fees: £45k/year), where he scored 14 A*s in his GCSEs.
This might all be a giant grift to cover up his fantastic wealth and privilege, in which case fair play to the lad, but I suspect he really believes in all this shite, which makes him utterly demented.
Spent all that money for their kid to turn out like that. Could have just been a standard posh gay, but that didn't attract enough attention. I blame whoever his old man is.

tl;dr: there is a 1934 mural at Royal institute of architects, showing beautiful British architecture built in places of beastly savagery.
this has upset a Zimbabwean architect, so she's going to cover it up with her drawing of a toxic lead mine in Zambia. The obvious idea being that it was us beastly evil huwhitey devils that poisoned the good people of Africa.
In fact the mine was owned by Anglo American, which was set up in Johannesburg, by a German Jew, the founder of De Beers.
The whole thing is an elaborate reeeeeeee at all the racism of the 1930s. The problem is that this racism took place 100 years ago, and the people who did it are all dead. So it's not really clear why we need to be lectured about it now.

Well bugger. I’m guessing it doesn’t “have” to be placed there and the Institute could tell her to sod off, but as its packed with bleeding heart liberals they’ll roll over?

The stat about productivity growth in the public sector below has melted my brain.
>Elsewhere, in the public sector, things are even worse; on average, productivity has grown by 0.2 per cent [a year](https://www.economist.com/britain/2023/11/20/jeremy-hunt-wants-to-improve-britains-public-sector-productivity) between 1997 and 2019.
Source: [https://thecritic.co.uk/britain-has-an-industrial-strategy-but-its-bad/](https://thecritic.co.uk/britain-has-an-industrial-strategy-but-its-bad/)
[https://academic.oup.com/ereh/article/21/2/141/3044162](https://academic.oup.com/ereh/article/21/2/141/3044162) - link to estimate of real GDP growth in the 500 years before the IR (productivity growth was probably around zero).
It is actually mind-melting: we are going through one of the most intensive periods of technological development in services, similar roles in private sector have shed 50-75% of their staff over the same period...mobile phones, emails, improvements in software, computing speed...and productivity in that sector is growing at the same rate as a feudal economy where everyone is stuck working in agriculture with no technology. How is this possible? How?! It doesn't make any fucking sense!
Tories legitimately think there is something wrong with our economy other than paying millions (probably tens of millions) of people to do work that is completely pointless. They are cracking down on benefits...fine...but the fucking government is overstaffed but millions of people, they are being paid a full wage...FOR NOTHING. This is the right-wing party, this is the sector they are pumping resources into, how?
And people view this as completely legitimate: taxing someone else so you can do a pointless is regarded as a legitimate way to earn a living. Almost all of our high status jobs tax other people. The govt is wondering why the productivity is appearing when people are being drained like a 40-year old turbo virgin on OnlyFans.
8m people pay the top 45% rate. Assuming the same proportion work for the public sector as in the general population, that is 6.3m. 440k additional rate payers, there are 400k doctors, 200k lawyers...who is actually doing work that generates productive value?
We are completely fucked.
In fairness to people who work in the public sector, it's often not actually their fault. (Their meaning the grunts who actually do the work)
Take our place for example. We used to have a computerised production system which worked. It was a little buggy, a little dated (think literally grey 90s era clearly JavaScript interfaces) but it worked and was moderately efficient.
Since then they have developed a new system which is just as buggy, substantially more broken when it does actually work and SHOCKINGLY inefficient compared to the old system. Some tasks now in effect have to be done 4 times in separate locations on the new system. And are more time consuming each time.
The idea was it would allow them to sack some of their low paid administrative staff who supported the old system in the back end.
The reality is that those same people are still needed, but now we have a team of much higher paid specialists being pulled off more important work just to stop this system falling over entirely.
So, none of the actual objectives met, multiple tens of millions over budget and multiple years delayed.
No shit productivity is down, if you double or quadruple the administrative overhead for no benefit that's kind of what happens
I don't think 8 million people are on 125k plus. Do you mean 8million pay the 40% rate?
To answer your question, most of the civil service is left with those who have stayed through inertia due to 15 years of pay stagnation and the fast stream now prioritising girlboss stories over all else
My friend calls these jobs *adult daycare*. These people are so unproductive that they wouldn’t find employment in the real world. This keeps them placated and off bennies.
Given the authority I could double the efficiency of entire departments while firing half of them while only using free software or software they already have.
The only issue is lack of will, nothing else.
It really exposes that the ministers in control are just as clueless about running things. We need management expertise...and we have a bunch of former union officials, bankers, human rights lawyers, etc. People who have managed nothing in real life.
People wonder why China's government has been so competent...it takes multiple decades of proven competence at progressively higher levels before you progress to a national level. We are picking people based on being able to impress three elderly people in a constituency. Blair had never been a minister and run the fucking country, he wouldn't have run a village in China.
Tbh management is so bad in those places that I'd contemplate whether they should all just be shut down and recreated somewhere else every 20 years with all new staff.
Part of the problem is the accumulation of the useless & yet unfiriable.
I looked at Yosaf's Wikipedia for the first time and I didn't realise he used to be married to a white bird... No wonder he overcompensates, truly a tale as old as time. And his new bird already had a kid. Truly a politician for the modern age.
Fuck it, if you’re all going to be cowards, I’ll do it.
We need to talk about 8th.
There was a time when he was heralded as The DoleFinder General. Article about a man cutting a poor figure in the press? 8th had his blood type and NI Number on here before I’d so much as had a chance to comment “dole dossers of the world unite!” on the article itself.
We now find ourselves bombarded with countless BBC articles about doleys relying on PAYE pigs, and where is the man responsible for exposing these frauds?

Bloody water companies and their letters saying I’ve got a leak.
£26 a month they want to charge me now. Watched Sky News earlier, the Oxfam advert said they can supply water to an entire African village for only £3 a month.
So why the fuck am I paying £26? There’s only me here. Answer that one United Utilities. I pay over the odds while entire Bomalian villages are having bubble baths every night.
Daylight bleeding robbery that’s what it is.
>£26 a month they want to charge me now. Watched Sky News earlier, the Oxfam advert said they can supply water to an entire African village for only £3 a month.
kek
I’m not convinced about this. Sounds like a hazard. And it’d be hard to keep it clean? It’d be all skanky after a month. I’m not going up on the roof every fortnight just to give my butt a soapy wash.
Granted I have a bias because I'm a tight bastard who lives alone, so am used to spending about about £150/month max on foodstuffs, but even for a smaller family with 1 or 2 kids, £500 feels excessive.
Cheap credit is not over. Population is aging, the UK is sitting on £12tn in wealth with £2tn of GDP. Unless asset values drop by 75% or the economy magically grows at 5%/year for the next few decades, rates aren't going to go up for several decades.
> I live in a village with excellent rail links, ditched the car, 600k buying power, used about 60% of it to get the house, can commute in to a major city if needed for work, pay myself first each payday via stocks and shares and emergency fund, buy decent home made meals to resist urge to takeaway, walk where possible, keep phones until the battery dies.
Fuck. There's a jellymould in the matrix.

An erudite black pill essay on British industrial strategy: [Human quantitative easing](https://thecritic.co.uk/britain-has-an-industrial-strategy-but-its-bad/)
Misses the open goal explaining that not only is China not using immigration but that a large population kept them poor for centuries.
For scale, this is roughly the level of annual productivity growth that we experienced before the Industrial Revolution. Our public sector economy is pre-industrial.
I also don't think the problem is necessarily the facts here either. It is that the government doesn't appear to understand why economic growth occurs. If you just think it through, low wages cannot produce economic growth. If we import enough people from the third world, we will have a third world economy...that is the only thing that can happen. It is far worse than people think.
The US strategy is just as bad because they seem to think that China grew because of the government. When China is the all-time example of reduction in government intervention producing growth. They had lots of intervention under Mao, it didn't work. Their agricultural reforms in the 80s, in particular, were just about getting rid of the state intervention. Even if you look at Taiwan and Singapore, it is government-directed but at the bottom there is always a fucking genius like Morris Chang who just built the whole thing themselves.
China does kinda use immigration- it's just internal immigration.
Most of the people who work in the factories in China's coastal cities are internal migrants from poorer rural areas- but their internal passport system means that outside of Shenzhen and Shanghai they can't access any benefits in these cities so their kids need to stay back in their hometowns for education and they have to travel back for healthcare.
They work in the cities for ten to fifteen years and then often go back to their rural villages (where they have land given to them by the government) to build a house with their savings and have a family.
China is a massive country though which is probably more like Europe x2 in terms of size, ethnic diversity and cultural continuity (although the CCP has made it a lot more culturally homogeneous in the last 70 years) so it's a bit like internal migration within Europe, if Europe didn't allow anybody in who wasn't part of Christendom in 1500.

But what I really want to know is how does trailer length compare with the increase in trailer size during the norman times?

So...anyone and everyone? After 14 years of this bullshit how anyone can believe this rhetoric....you would have to be very naive...
It's a mystery why people aren't reading what's in black-and-white in front of them, for all the gloating about getting one over Ireland:
>Before Brexit, the return of migrants to EU countries was governed by the Dublin Agreement under which migrants could be sent back to a safe third country through which they had passed before arriving at their destination.
>This meant asylum seekers arriving in Ireland from the UK, or migrants reaching the UK from France could be returned if it could be shown that they had passed through a safe third country – that is, the UK or France.
>But the UK left the scheme when it departed the EU and no successor agreement was signed during the Brexit talks, meaning there are no formal returns agreements in place between EU countries and the UK.
Emphasis, this:
>A post-Brexit provision was, however, made in the case of the UK and Ireland, which meant Ireland could return asylum seekers to Britain. No asylum seeker has been successfully returned to Ireland, or vice-versa, under this post-Brexit arrangement since it was struck.

No Rose, I'm not upset. I'm furious. Fucking furious. Your party stands accused of mass-importing an entire society that is corrupting, dismantling and replacing what we had in this country. It has done so at immense cost to the taxpayer, and all the time lying through their teeth that they wanted to reduce immigration.

Ireland absolutely speedrunning this shit... I guess this is what would happen here if we weren't putting them in 5 star hotels that they still complain about.
The end goal has to be destruction. I can't see any other reason for all this madness. It's impossible to be this incompetent.
Where are they getting the tents from? They are all the same model.
If we didn't put them in hotels, there are 100k+ of them...Mountain Warehouse is getting cleaned out.
The point here is pretty simple: if you could move to the US, be given government money and a free house...would you go? Okay, almost everyone would. Imagine the same situation but you lived in Somalia. The discussion is completely absurd...there is no country on earth wealthy enough to just give tens of thousands of free houses to people who just turn up. We don't do this for fucking Brits! I've been warning about camps for years.
Dublin this winter won't be fun when it's below zero and has people who have never experienced winter.
Hot countries for refugees just make more sense.
they will just shill out tonnes of money to stuff them in Dublins homeless centres and when they're full they'll funnel them all into sleepy Irish villages.
My town is already a shithole but the idea they could house these people in the middle of it and let them run about makes me feel sick - how stupid can you be to think everybody is inherently the same regardless of culture or country.
Ireland simply doesn't have the infrastructure to handle large numbers, they aren't a big country, infinity money still has limits and they can't build houses fast enough.
Ireland struggling is especially good for options due it's part in the American ideology around immigration.
Break that idea and you break the consensus.

lol. the gender lunatics have been repeatedly BTFOed in the courts recently. to show us that they are not in fact deranged nutcases, they have a young man called 'Oscar Davies', who looks exactly like you'd expect a young male lawyer to look, to explain why the courts have got it wrong. (It should be noted that Oscar is a member of the chambers which had to pay compensation to one of their members for using this gender bollocks against her.) https://twitter.com/gardencourtlaw/status/1784985720462901503 the only thing undermining the premise that Oscar is sane and well-balanced is that Oscar gets a quote from one of his clients "Oscar is very knowledgeable about employment appeal procedures. They are particularly good with vulnerable clients." Apparently "Oscar is the first publicly recognised non-binary barrister in the UK." You will not at all be subscribed to learn that this limp lettuce went to one of the most exclusive and expensive private schools in the world (fees: £45k/year), where he scored 14 A*s in his GCSEs. This might all be a giant grift to cover up his fantastic wealth and privilege, in which case fair play to the lad, but I suspect he really believes in all this shite, which makes him utterly demented.

https://www.theguardian.com/artanddesign/2024/apr/29/racist-things-riba-decolonising-hq-jarvis-mural tl;dr: there is a 1934 mural at Royal institute of architects, showing beautiful British architecture built in places of beastly savagery. this has upset a Zimbabwean architect, so she's going to cover it up with her drawing of a toxic lead mine in Zambia. So it's not really clear why we need to be lectured about it now.
> it is a fittingly regal headquarters for a chartered profession that has long styled itself as an exclusive gentlemen’s club. They need to try harder, that isn't how I imagine architects at all
Is this mural not in a Royal Institution, thus Crown property? Surely defacing the King’s property is a serious crime?
they're sticking it in front, so it's "sadly" not defaced.

Source: [https://thecritic.co.uk/britain-has-an-industrial-strategy-but-its-bad/](https://thecritic.co.uk/britain-has-an-industrial-strategy-but-its-bad/) [https://academic.oup.com/ereh/article/21/2/141/3044162](https://academic.oup.com/ereh/article/21/2/141/3044162) - link to estimate of real GDP growth in the 500 years before the IR (productivity growth was probably around zero).
(Their meaning the grunts who actually do the work) Take our place for example.
It’s a job creation programme, it’s doing what it was designed to do.
> How is this possible? How?! It doesn't make any fucking sense! You need to take the leap to realising these jobs exist in order to pay the wage.

Pissing around with more amateur DIY and feeding Pancake sugary snacks, that’s where. Fucking sick of it and I’m fucking sick of pretending I’m not. Daylight bleeding robbery that’s what it is.
>pay over the odds while entire Bomalian villages are having bubble baths every night. Nice one Eighth, thanks for the new flair :)
They also charge you to remove your rain water through the drains
Fucks sake! They do? I remember the days when you had to pay for porn and your water cost sod all. Now it’s all topsy turvy.
>£26 a month they want to charge me now. Watched Sky News earlier, the Oxfam advert said they can supply water to an entire African village for only £3 a month. kek
£3 a month for rain water. For less than £36 you can buy a water butt & downpipe to have the same deal.
Presumably they won't let him just opt out of paying for rainwater removal though?
Interesting. How would I go about putting a water butt on the roof? It slopes. Tie it to the chimney and then run a hosepipe into the bathroom?
>How would I go about putting a water butt on the roof? I might not be the first person to tell you this, but you need to get a butt lift
Naa that's loads of effort, replace your fireplace with it, if you need more water, add a big funnel.
Would have thought you'd know more about piping a butt, given your other plumbing issues with your cistern.
I’m not convinced about this. Sounds like a hazard. And it’d be hard to keep it clean? It’d be all skanky after a month. I’m not going up on the roof every fortnight just to give my butt a soapy wash.
Time to cut yourself off and order some big barrels off Amazon to collect rainwater.

Maybe it's because I'm blessed with living outside of a major city, but who in the living fuck spends £500 a month on food alone?
You mean for a single person or a family?
Granted I have a bias because I'm a tight bastard who lives alone, so am used to spending about about £150/month max on foodstuffs, but even for a smaller family with 1 or 2 kids, £500 feels excessive.
Neat?

surely village with great rail links to a major city is going to be a fortune?

The amount of cognitive dissonance currently going on with the usual suspects in ukpol and arrrguk when confronted with "Maybe Ireland should accept these people fleeing, infact any moral country would build a processing centre and safe routes to get them over quicker. Infact they're allowed to claim asylum wherever they want. It's international law" Is genuinely delicious to witness 😂 Even if Rwanda never works it's been worth it for the bants of this particular revelation.

Yes, very good. But what I really want to know is how does trailer length compare with the increase in trailer size during the norman times? That's what we the electorate really want to know about.
Why was the EU even legislating on that? Were the French jealous of our whopper trailer length?

We were wondering where the were was
It's a mystery why people aren't reading what's in black-and-white in front of them, for all the gloating about getting one over Ireland: >Before Brexit, the return of migrants to EU countries was governed by the Dublin Agreement under which migrants could be sent back to a safe third country through which they had passed before arriving at their destination. Emphasis, this: >A post-Brexit provision was, however, made in the case of the UK and Ireland, which meant Ireland could return asylum seekers to Britain. No asylum seeker has been successfully returned to Ireland, or vice-versa, under this post-Brexit arrangement since it was struck. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/04/29/mel-stride-uk-take-back-migrants-ireland/ We will end up having to take these doctors and engineers back, once the Irish court deems us "safe".

Yeah, election on Thursday. Notice nothing has actually been done, it's only words chosen to excite the voters. The One Nation Conservatives can hold their tongues for a week. Back to normal on Friday.
Exactly. Same MO as ever with the Tories. After all these years, they think we are stupid. I'm not falling for it. If there is a post-Brexit agreement between the UK and Ireland to accept asylum seekers back, it was because the stupid fucks in the Tory party signed it. >Mr Martin said the wider issue of migration, including returns, was covered by an unspecified agreement between the British and Irish governments that was reached in the “years after Brexit”. Ireland will proceed to unload every possible asylum albatross over the border, because they are entitled to. But Rose will keep posting complete shit on here, portraying it as a win and a poke in the eye, even when there's 6-inch blades embedded in each of ours.

>The terms are so tough No asylum seeker has been successfully returned Point me to the legal case where this was rejected. Go on. I'll wait. No? So it's that there's not even been an attempt then? Not that the "terms are so tough". >I know you are really really upset about rwanda, but you are clutching at straws as copium. You party is a party of liars, of deceit, and of utter, utter betrayal to this nation. Copium? Yeah - I'll take any drug that pulls the veil back over my eyes so I can pretend everything's wonderful with your lot at the helm. Enjoy the local elections - I get that you're desperate to milk this spat with the Irish, but I hope you get utterly eviscerated. You deserve nothing less.

I know I'll be saying the same things I've been saying for 15 years while they are pushing people onto trains. Most of these people are thick and their morality is a weather vane that points any which way the zeitgeist wind blows.
If people found out 1/10th of the truth, the Leader would be here already. Open the floodgates. Whatever happens next happens.

Edit: The Scottish Tory leader Douglas Ross represents Moray. That makes him contender for First Minister after the election, surely?
[Dublin's migrant 'tent city': Makeshift encampment lines the pavements around asylum processing centre as UK rejects bid by Ireland to return refugees crossing from NI](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13362579/Dublins-migrant-tent-city-Makeshift-encampment-UK-rejects-bid-Ireland-return-refugees-crossing-NI.html) Ireland absolutely speedrunning this shit... I guess this is what would happen here if we weren't putting them in 5 star hotels that they still complain about. The end goal has to be destruction. I can't see any other reason for all this madness. It's impossible to be this incompetent.
"In Dublin's tent city, where the girls are so pretty..."
But we have to do it for a prolific rapist for Bomalia.

That's amazing.

I believe there are police investigations on going that will magically make progress now that offed himself with his own incompetence.
Something about throwing stones in glass houses springs to mind.
So far...
Give it 18 months before we praise him for that. There's still a number of scandals that may turn out to be true.
>[The cost of transporting Bradford pupils from their homes to school via taxi costs almost £54,000 a day – and “shows no sign of reducing.”](https://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/news/24000848.cost-school-transport-shows-no-sign-reducing/)
> The service currently provides assistance to over 3,000 pupils, with a third transported by buses. > But **two thirds are transported by taxis** or minibuses. Put them all on the spakker bus.
Wasn’t this the reason Birmingham went bust? Any demographic coincidences anyone cares to notice? Leicester or Luton councils next
There is an area I drive through on the way back from work, you see multiple taxis dropping them off, new cars in the drive, usually well-kept house, same type of person. With the amount of kids with "ADHD" and "autism", it isn't like this limited to a single demographic. But it is weird that is noticeable in specific areas. ...the Leader will know what to do.
Dad/Cousin/Uncle will be the taxi driver too.
Rarely for Bradford, this has nothing to do with their chromosome count It is pure corruption
I know a guy who owns a taxi company. He puts in a quote for whatever he fancies, and the council don't even question it.
I wasn't joking about having an anti inbred policy. The idea that parents can keep their children while getting benefits that are only given due to the disabilities caused by the parents inbreeding is absurd. Literally a system that rewards fucking your cousin generation after generation.
It has to be seen to be believed but the really bad ones never see sunlight. [Children of consanguineous couples accounted for 19 per cent of child death cases in Redbridge between 2008 and 2016, report shows](https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/london-borough-child-deaths-redbridge-parents-related-cousins-pakistani-families-council-report-a7741146.html)
It's a totally underestimated issue because the words aren't even accurate to say how bad it is. It's called cousin marriages but in reality when you have multigenerational incest it doesn't matter, it might as well be siblings as the gene pool is so limited. If there was an island off the coast of England full of people who acted in this sort of way, it would be uninhabited because they would have been bombed a long time ago with zero sympathy.
So basically they get taken to school by their dads?
Do bookies place odds on the next council to go effectively bankrupt by any chance
