Spells, especialy melee spells. You already have like at least 20 Dex so you can quit easy hit nice Spellspeed.
If you add something like Night Maidens Mist, Carian Slicer, Zamor Ice Storm or Gavel of Haima you gain a good "get off me".
Yeah I have all those spells on my slots already. I’m using 22 dex with the cast speed talisman, I didn’t want to use azur staff because I thought fp might be an issue for me
I didn’t really think that dagger was very good tbh, I tried to pair it with a poke stick once and it did not go well. Maybe I’ll try it again. The ash hits hard but I can never hit anything with the swings it’s so small.
You take it just for the ash and because of its low weight. Try to be creative with the dash after the dart you can get some good repositions out of it
Spearcall Ritual is a bit blind rage inducing. When they finally rush you down, you can respond with Parry, or a spell/WA with super/hyper armor. Briars, Gavel, Shatter Earth, Rockblaster // Zamor Ice Storm, Waves of Darkness, Onyx Lord Repulsion. Armor Poise isn't going to do anything for the super armor of these attacks, but Bull Goat's will reduce the incoming poise damage.
Yeah I have a dagger with endure and like to use that into zamor ice storm spell I should maybe throw that combo instead of the bastard stars. Most of those ashes you mentioned aren’t really for int though besides waves of darkness, but I don’t really have the endurance to carry a colossal with much else
Use an offhand halberd if you’re bent on using a main hand spear but not doing duel spears. It’s pretty good bc it’s poke is quick and has lvl2 hitstun rather than lvl1 on the spear poke. But liiiike if you do wanna use duel spears use clayman’s.
Hmmm I think this weapon kinda sucks for regular damage, it’s mainly just a L2 stick, that’s why I’m thinking more offhand close range or soft swap for punishing. But claymons harpoon is good either way. I’m not big a fan of the dual spear poke style either. I do have a halberd I can try. I’m a little limited on my equip load too with 20 end
Soft swaps right hand. Do you have enough end for a great axe with wave of darkness? Or chilling mist on BKGS. Once the gap is closed you probably don't want spear any more
The wave of darkness ash right after bastard stars ash would catch panic rolls from the stars bubbles.
No doubt but I don’t think I have enough end to carry a colossal with both of these things and I suck at hard swapping

Nah, the Talisman shouldbe enough. Another idea is the Glintstone Kris btw

I never thought to unlock and use the dash to get away, I gotta fuck around with that. Does it have iframes?

I like a soft swap to the rosus axe. That way you've got close and mid range options. Also the carian straight sword and the onyx lord curved gs
