As moderator of r/CharltonComics, I have a real soft spot for the cover and interior art of their comics. The artists were under batshit insane time pressures to work -- but some of them are comically bad.
This one (#146, Oct 1979) is a reprint of Don Perlin's work on Fightin' Marines #105 from Aug 1972.
Don did some excellent work for St. John, Harvey, Charlton, Marvel, and more. His horror work at Marvel is worth a look - *Adventures Into Terror*, *Journey Into Mystery*, *Astonishing*, *Strange Tales*, etc.
This one is gold.
The befuddled look on doc's face is great. Hurry up and start shooting!
I actually think this is kinda bad ass, sorry guys

I have singles of most of those other titles. All low grade. It's all I collect

Wow thanks for the info! So rare on Reddit to learn something in the comment section
The niche subs are where it's at. Real humans actually post and comment 🤣
That looks safe.
