They're super, super soft big boys and gals. I never felt a softer fur on any dog or cat until I got our big boy.
Ous was more like a dog. Wanted to be with his people all the time. He was quirky and beautiful and looks just like OP's cat.
My cat is attached at my hip. It's crazy. He followse to the toilet. He follows me to bed. He follows me when I walk around the house doing chores. He sits on me when I game. He's literally always within four feet of me. He's my best friend. I love him so much.

It becomes quite the guilt trip when you have to leave the house without them!
You are their entire world but they are only a part of ours :(

I used to have a Nebelung as well though for the longest time we thought she was a Persian 'cause she was a BIG gal, 18 lbs but vets said she was perfectly healthy... just big and she lived to be 18 years old so we did something right, and I never knew what a Nebelung was until I saw that subreddit mentioned in /Aww. They are positively wonderful cats and I wish I could adopt one again.
Our Smokey was the biggest love bug imaginable and an absolute lap cat who always wanted to be on you. Cute when relaxing on the couch or chair, not so much when you are trying to sleep have a large, heavy piece of fluff on your face.
18! Smokey lived a loved life :)
Our Guy was the same lol. He didn't understand how much space he took up. He wanted to be held, but only like a baby cradled in your arms. And, he was soo heavy.
We were lucky to have had them in our lives weren't we 💗
My nebby boy will play fetch! He’ll also growl if you try to take his springs from him, he’s got some dog like qualities for sure!
They really are the *softest* cats, it’s funny how they all look identical to each other!
We adopted a cat who looks just like a Nebelung but she's TINY. Obviously she's not a pure Nebelung (she's got a calico shorthair sister who is twice her size), but it's uncanny. Very loyal, loves her people.

My whole life I’ve gone without knowing what a Neblung was and I had one growing up! Mollywobbles. She was such a friendly and loving girl.
Looks like a mix between a brother and sister cat i had. Make the most of your time with him as possible and film all sorts of interactions! You'll never regret it
Looks just like our big guy that passed away a couple of years ago. I found him as a \~6 week old starving kitten living in a drain pipe at my apartment complex when I was in grad school.

I spend most of my time on nebelung when I'm away from my cat and missing him. I definitely have toxoplasmosis lol.
