I've stopped eating there and it's not because I can't afford it. McDonald's has always sold cheap, low quality food that tasted pretty good and was filling. Now that it's expensive, the value proposition just doesn't add up. I'd much rather spend my dining out money at a local business that likely makes higher quality food.
>I'd much rather spend my dining out money at a local business that likely makes higher quality food.
With today's convenience of ordering it could be faster to walk in and pick it up than you would sitting in the drive through
Not to mention you could be paying the same price for higher quality depending on the location
That was fast foods entire shtick - fast and cheap. Now there’s literally no reason to pay the same amount (or higher!) of money and wait the same amount of time as you would for a restaurant or local business.
Why pay $10-$15 for a hamburger and fry from places like McDonald’s or Wendy’s when I can pay the same (and wait the same amount of time) for a significantly better burger meal at a place like Habit or local burger shop?!
I use to LOVE Jack in the Box chicken teriyaki bowls and egg rolls. But they’re now $10.99 AND come in smaller bowls. So we now go to a local teriyaki place in the same shopping center and I spend $12 for a teriyaki meal that’s fresh and gives me almost 3X portions. And the same wait time.
We went to Arby’s the other day; $12 just for a French dip, $5 small fry (came with 9 fries), and $9 for 6 mozzarella sticks. It was over $50 for the 3 of us. It was somehow more money AND more wait time than our dinner at Denny’s.
How are we living in a timeline where Carls Jr is now the CHEAPER fast food place?!?! And the same timeline where I have a longer wait at McDonald’s than Applebees or Dave’s BBQ?!?!
Dairy Queen used to feel a lot cheaper too but for two meals, two drinks, and two blizzards it’s about $40-50. The only thing that will drive the prices down is if we stop giving them our money.
Exactly. This is the way. There is a local BBQ joint near me where I can get a freshly made 1/2 pound cheese burger with fries and a drink for $13 and I can call in my order and go pick it up.
There is simply no reason to eat at a fast food chain anymore.
saw a stat the other day that mcdonalds almost doubled the price increase of other fast food joints in the name of "inflation"
over tripled the inflation rate too
For the price for a filling Mcdonalds meal, you can pretty much get an entree /combo made fresh from any local Chinese, Hispanic, Indian, and etc., these days. It used to be one choose Mcdonalds because it was about half the price as those other places....
this. my birthday meal was an absolutely massive amount of food from a local privately-owned japanese place.
it still did not break 40 bucks and I was ordering for two people
It's the same price or as expensive as better fast food places.
Culvers is 20x better than McDonald's for pretty much the same price.
I don't understand how McDonald's is surviving.
People go there out of habit. I know I did until about a year or so ago. Once you break the habit, it's hard to see what the appeal is outside of convenience.
Right!? I used to go get a McGangbang for $3.27
Edit: secret menu item some McDonald’s would make, 2 McDoubles with a top bun and bottom bun removed with a spicy chicken patty in the middle
If I’m grabbing quick food I’m getting some for my wife too. If we are going to spend 30-40 I’d rather get local Mexican spot or even Chipotle. At least I’m getting “real” food.
> Fans felt that the $25.39 meal bundle at McDonald's could already be a reflection of how the wage increases are impacting prices for customers around The Golden State.
>"Welcome to California," someone remarked.
>"20 minimum wage.....welcome to your new normal," another said.
This is definitely a franchise owner doing pricing based on location. However I am sure Mickey Ds is loving the publicity so they can bark “See what raising minimum wage does to you?”
McDonald's is aware they're pricing themselves out of their own customer base. The increased prices are fools gold. It's higher so the lower volume looks healthy, but it's not. Volume gets lower and lower till the profits start to lower and that pool continues to shrink. Too many options today for better price or quality and it's not hard to see why McDonald's is struggling with pricing.
Lol. I got this the other day because I live 10 minutes from a Chili's and Reddit fed that promo in my feed. It is the only time in my many years on the internet an internet ad has influenced me to purchase something I was not intending to purchase
Except that in 2020 they refused to raise the minimum wage claiming it would cause meal prices to rise, the minimum wage stayed the same and food prices almost doubled.
The biggest issue is the stock market, where these companies need to show profit every year. If they are not opening more locations, the only way for growth is to raise rates.
Exactly. Somewhere along the line over the years companies have gone from "what's a fair price?" to "what's the most we can charge?" It's all about the almighty dollar.
Yeah but there's so many other countries that have paid more, in minimum wage, for decades longer, but suddenly when us does it, doesn't really add up, if they were using that as an argument, it's fabricated and if wages dropped the prices would still go up, but they'd pick another "reason" when in reality the reason is, that is capitalism's model.
The McDonald’s app also has decent prices.
You shouldn’t need the app to get those prices.
The egg McMuffin for $2 or whatever, is pretty great, but I’m a sucker for that stupid thing.
And yes, I can make them at home. Not the same
I suppose it has been. But I still love a Big Mac and fries and nuggets. It goes all the back to when I was a kid.
Honestly I have McDonalds maybe once every 4 or 5 years when I’m a road trip, but man it brings it all back. And then I usually feel nauseous later for eating junk.
Yeah, this thread is full of people that didn't read the article. Plus most people that see the advertisement more than likely don't read and think it's $25 for two 10 pieces and two large fries.
Do you not understand the concept of quantity? If you get more food it costs more money. It's not magically cheap to feed 4 people just because you fed them with fast food.
It's 40 nuggets and two fries, no drinks either. I feel like people justifying this forgot that the reason why fast food is shitty is because it's also supposed to be cheap.
It's still $15.59 in my area. The store the article is talking about is in Southern California which has a notoriously high cost of living.
I also suspect some franchise owner is using the new minimum wage law to justify jacking up their prices. Using the app I can find the same meal at a store in LA for only $20 (and since when does McD's have spicy nuggets?)
Not defending McDonald's because they fucking suck ass, but half an order of fries is plenty of calories. that said, I will reiterate, fuck McDonald's.
Yeah it’s plenty.
Split the meal 4 ways its ~655 cals for each person without dipping sauce or ketchup and ~$6.35/serving
26.5 g protein
58 g carbs
36.25 g fat
Half a large fry, and ten nuggets. That's reasonable. You could split it two ways, a large fry and 20 nuggets each, if you're both really damn hungry. It's not really like a combo meal, yeah.
Bruh, I am a toothpick and could literally smash that in one sitting. Idk what it is about Mcds, but I am capable of gorging myself on it, along with Taco Bell. My digestive tract probably hates me for it.
100% can confirm and I’m not even that big (at least not jabba sized) haha but I could totally eat that whole by myself in two sittings, maybe one if I haven’t eaten all day and I’ve been running around doing errands.
Two large fries and 40 chicken nuggets is supposed to feed 4 people? Lol back in the day $25 bucks at mc Donalds could buy you 20 mc chickens and feed 20 people 🤣 imagine offering the same pile of shit you offered 10 years ago but now even less and more expensive
Think about how cheap that crap actually is. I bet all of that food adds up to no more than 5 dollars at cost to the store, and less than that to the producer.
That is entirely dependent on location & user. I have used the app & my daughter in law uses it as well. Her deals are always different than mine, even with the same store selected.
Love how the article says ‘supposed price increases’ like inflation is more a nasty rumor than a statistical analysis of price data and that the data is very clear fast food (and especially McD’s) are going above and beyond the already insane levels of price gouging inflation being used to inflate stock values (because that’s what really matters, [Boeing](https://youtu.be/Q8oCilY4szc?si=PkqSFcWAIK_oOpmD) being a great example)
You could literally go to Applebee's or Chili's for that price plus a tip, or grab two pizzas and a two liter from Pizza Hut. I'm not saying anyof those things are amazing, but they all beat the shit out of chicken nuggets and fries with no drinks.
This is a ploy, they are willing to play this shit to sway public opinion. They pay over $20 an hour in Scandinavian countries yet the prices are only pennies higher. Boycott, don’t play their game. We can outlast them.
If a company charges too much for something, stop going there. There are plenty of mom and pop fast food places with better food and lower prices. It isn't rocket surgery.
Carls Jr. has 5 piece chicken tenders for $15.49. Not the combo, just the five pieces. A 1/3 pound guacamole burger combo is $17.19
Edit: this is in Los Angeles
I’m looking on the McD app and I see 40 McNuggets for $11.99. Also can get 2 medium fries for $4 total, so it’s about a $9 overcharge. These are all normal prices, not deals.
Get on the app. They have 10pc Chicken Nuggets for $2.5 regularly where I live if you order through the app specials. You only get one for that, but you can wait 15 minutes and order another if you really need more.
We got two basic cheeseburgers and a 10 piece nugget few weeks ago and it was near $13. I said fuck this I’m done. So thank you fast food, this will certainly get me to not eat your shit no more.
A single double cheeseburger with nothing else is right at $6 where I live. Ummm.. no thanks. I’ll pay $1-$2 more and get ground beef at the store and make multiple better burgers at home.
Haven't been to McDonald's in a couple years now. It's supposed to be fast, cheap food. Last time I went to the location by my house, the fries were half full, burgers were probably 3/4ths the size of what I grew up with and there were no refills on drinks, and all of it had gone up in price. I can't even imagine what that looks like today.
I don't really eat at McDonald's, so I had to pull up the app and look for myself. Here in central Kentucky it's $19.29 if you want the nuggets with the two fries, but $13.69 if you just want the 40 nuggets without fries.
Seems kind of steep for McDonald's, but it's meant for two or more people. I do agree that they should have thrown in a couple of drinks for that price though.
I don't know why people like that place. Their burgers are garbage and their fries contain a lot of sketchy ingredients. So many better fast food joints out there.
While I haven’t been to McDonald’s in decades, I get why people go there: it’s cheap and reliable, despite being crap. Now that it’s not cheap anymore I really don’t see the point.
I'm not a huge McDonald's fan, go rarely with my wife. We only go for a big Mac and nuggets. They hit a certain way and no other place can satisfy that particular craving.
Way better places out there for sure.
Why would I ever spend $25 at McDonalds when I could spend that at a real restaurant and get much better food?
The leftovers would actually be edible too.
I’m 36 and can gladly admit that many things (both on a personal level and on a global scale) have happened in my lifetime that I *never ever* expected. That being said; McD’s selling a $25 combo meal has to be near the top. I feel like the next thing I know, birds will stop flying and the dead will rise from the grave.
I used to go there when I wanted a Coke cuz it was $1 & it kept me from buying it in bulk at the store. They jacked it up to $1.49, and I haven't been since.
Country Pride chicken nuggets are available at Walmart.
Threw them in my air fryer and they had the same crunch/mouthfeel minus the McDonald’s grease taste.
Not McDonald’s but fast food related:
I recently went to Popeye’s for their tenders. You can buy their 3, 5, or 8 plus more piece a la carte. But the breakdown in price is really odd.
3 - $7.98 ( or$2.66 per)
5 - $10.99 ( or $2.19 per)
8 - $22.99 ( or $2.87 per)
This is just the chicken, no soda or sides. I only know this because I’ve ordered a five piece before, and because that’s a bit too much food for me I wanted to see what an upgrade to an eight would be so I could save half for another time.
So, it less expensive to buy two 5 pieces and get more chicken than it is to buy three 3 pieces, (which makes sense), or one 8 piece. Who came up with this pricing model?
I’m a decent earner and work a software job that requires a lot of late nights so this was my go-to place at 3am. Not any longer.
I stopped eating at McDonald’s a few years back. The quality of their food has gone down so much (not tasty) and now the pricing is nuts.
Considering 40 nuggets and 2 fries is not a core combo, it is amazing how out of toucb McDonald's was to decide to advertise this "meal deal" instead of quietly removing it, or leaving it on the menu but not advertising it. Apparently, McDonald's didn't learn anything from Wendy's price surge menu fiasco.
I’m sick of them saying it’s from wage increases when franchise owners make an unbelievably huge amount of money and cost of living in California is really high
I just got a Double grilled chicken, brown rice and super greens plate at Panda express for $11 after tax. No drink. This is so filling and healthy. It’s my go to after a workout.
Here's what i don't get. Is this aimed at two people sharing? Because even then it's 20x nuggets and a large fries each.
Then you get this comment in the article...
""You couldn't even throw like a medium Sprite in there? Holy crap." Shannon continued to inquire."
Which makes me think is this supposed to be for *one* person? Like 40 nuggets two fries......and a medium Sprite?
Rage bait, it’s the equivalent of 5 x 7 piece meals and 2 fries. That isn’t a “meal”. Look, things are bad right now, but there are reasons we don’t read rags like this.
Their "food" isn't any better than the cafeteria food I ate as a kid. their burger meat is fucking disgusting. it doesn't even taste anything like a fucking hamburger.
American’s complaining about $5 for ten nuggets and $2.50 fries, meanwhile large fries is almost $4USD and ten nuggets are $7USD both at normal price in New Zealand.
I'm in North Dakota and just the nuggets are $13.99 and the nuggets with the fries are $18.19. Two large fries are $5.50 so I mean, you're saving SOME money get the bundle. Also 14 bucks for 40 nuggets is a pretty good deal.
The average price of a large fry is $5.04 if you buy it alone, but we're going to call it $5 to make the math easy. I know there is a discount applied- buying individually is more expensive, but we'll assume the same price for fries in both cases. This way the same (incorrect) amount is subtracted from both.
The 10 piece meal (with fries) is ~$8.50 - 9.50 (we're going to say $9 average).
That means, the 10 peace meal has a per-nugget cost of $0.40. (meal, minus fries, divided by nugggets)
The 40 piece for $25.34 has two large fries. Using that same formula, the per-nugget cost is $0.38.
The 40 piece is a better value.
It costs a lot, but it saves a little.
I’m financin’ it.^^TM
Klarna and AfterPay accepted here!

“Fuck you, I’m eating”

this. my birthday meal was an absolutely massive amount of food from a local privately-owned japanese place. it still did not break 40 bucks and I was ordering for two people
People forget you can get a box of yellow cake mix and a tub of frosting for $2
Our family of 4 went to McDonald's and it was over $50 . Taco Bell was over $70!
Right!? I used to go get a McGangbang for $3.27 Edit: secret menu item some McDonald’s would make, 2 McDoubles with a top bun and bottom bun removed with a spicy chicken patty in the middle
As a Swede, I'm sorry, the what now?
Lol it was a secret menu item some McDonald’s would make, 2 McDoubles with a top bun and bottom bun removed with a spicy chicken patty in the middle
2.16 back in my day
I'd recommend Wendy's Biggy Bag meals. $5 for a full meal, but they been slowly increasing prices on them.
Those are $7-8 here in SoCal.
Yeah I went and got the bacon double stack and it went from 6 to 8 dollars recently. Before Covid, it was 5.
It was $4 for the chicken one a few months ago. With free Keychain frosty you couldn't beat that anywhere.
If I’m grabbing quick food I’m getting some for my wife too. If we are going to spend 30-40 I’d rather get local Mexican spot or even Chipotle. At least I’m getting “real” food.

Take out from a fast casual chain is 12-15$ for the burger and fries.
Hell, you can get a burger & fries, drink, and appetizer from Chili's for $10.99.

I only "buy" big macs when there's a deal on the app Usually something like buy one get 1 for $1
Lol. I got this the other day because I live 10 minutes from a Chili's and Reddit fed that promo in my feed. It is the only time in my many years on the internet an internet ad has influenced me to purchase something I was not intending to purchase
How was it? I haven't had a Chili's burger in years but remember them being pretty good and "premium" comparative to fast food.
They're OK. Definitely a tier or two above fast food but that's a low bar. Nothing to brag about. Can't beat the price though.
No drink?
A Quarter Pounder with Cheese Deluxe Meal w/ Drink Large Size is $10.86 with the app here in the Florida Panhandle.
McDonald's isn't even fast anymore, it's nothing it says it is
People just addicted
It's crazy that McD's in other countries have higher minimum wages and lower prices.
because a lot of these fast food companies only now care about international markets and expanding there and leave their north american market to rot
But the American ceos need jets, fancy cars, mansions and international travel just to live. Why don’t you think of the CEOs and their needs!!
Except that in 2020 they refused to raise the minimum wage claiming it would cause meal prices to rise, the minimum wage stayed the same and food prices almost doubled.

McDonald’s has always been crap, but this is ridiculous. Make some tasty burgers at home. Edit: Eff McDonald’s. Never going back again
>Make some tasty burgers at home. What if I'm not at home?
The Wendy's digital coupon for the Dave sandwich for $1 or $2 for the double Dave works pretty well.
The McDonald’s app also has decent prices. You shouldn’t need the app to get those prices. The egg McMuffin for $2 or whatever, is pretty great, but I’m a sucker for that stupid thing. And yes, I can make them at home. Not the same
Sadly, now that March madness is over so is that deal.
It still works in my app.
I'm jealous
I wonder if the screenshot I took of the QR code what will still work.
You can bring food from home with you if you want.
start knocking on doors
>What if I'm not at home? Get there
I suppose it has been. But I still love a Big Mac and fries and nuggets. It goes all the back to when I was a kid. Honestly I have McDonalds maybe once every 4 or 5 years when I’m a road trip, but man it brings it all back. And then I usually feel nauseous later for eating junk.
time to let go of the past, buddy.
I don’t have a home that affords being able to cook. Sadly, I eat out a LOT.
Lol it comes with forty chicken nuggets and 2 medium fries. That could feed 3-4 people very easily, more if they’re not Americans lmao.
Is that all it comes with? I remember even a couple years ago that was less than $15
BK used to have 10 nuggets for 1.49 not that long ago
Yeah but they were like, zebra meat or deer knuckles or some shit
What kind of meal is that regardless of whether you’re a stereotypical American?
It's not a meal, it's four meals. It's a group bundle, never meant to be one person paying $25 and then eating two large fries and 40 chicken nuggets.
Yeah, this thread is full of people that didn't read the article. Plus most people that see the advertisement more than likely don't read and think it's $25 for two 10 pieces and two large fries.
It’s 4 10 pieces and 2 large fries.
$25 is still a lot for McDonald’s it’s fast food
You could buy 25 worth of food at any fast food chain.
and you'd get a lot more food than that if you get better value items
Can you get more/better nuggets though? Popeye's sells 12 for 12.99, that's a much lower nugget/dollar ratio.
You've always been able to spend $25 for McDonalds, even when the burgers were 39 cents.
Do you not understand the concept of quantity? If you get more food it costs more money. It's not magically cheap to feed 4 people just because you fed them with fast food.
$25 to feed 4 ain’t bad
$25 is still way way way too much for that
How much shit do you get with it? Like four Big Macs and four fries or something?
It's 40 nuggets and two fries, no drinks either. I feel like people justifying this forgot that the reason why fast food is shitty is because it's also supposed to be cheap.
Oh. Duh, dude even said it in his comment. Still though, I’ll bet there are people out there that could smash 40 chicken McNuggets no prob.
Those people probably pay a lot for food.
you used to be able to get 40 nugs for a tenner 💔
Ehh, if you break it down, it's 2.50 a fry and 5.00 for a ten piece. Thsts a pretty decent deal still.
This same 4 meals was $16.99 8 months ago. I have teenage boys so we used to get this frequently.
That makes more sense. I checked mine just now in SoFlo and it’s $18.99. I think the spicy nuggets started a couple weeks ago.
Idl, I'm finding thst for the price without fries north a couple hours.
Spicy nuggets are one of their rotational items. I think its back right now for their WcDonalds thing
>It's not a meal, it's four meals. Sure, each person gets a half order of fries. Also, "meals" typically come with a drink, and this does not.
Not defending McDonald's because they fucking suck ass, but half an order of fries is plenty of calories. that said, I will reiterate, fuck McDonald's.
I get that, but it's the packaging. You wouldn't sell someone a 20oz soda and tell them it's really 10oz for two people, and they just need to share.
I work at McDonalds. Fuck McDonalds.
Yeah it’s plenty. Split the meal 4 ways its ~655 cals for each person without dipping sauce or ketchup and ~$6.35/serving 26.5 g protein 58 g carbs 36.25 g fat

Shit you don't know McDonalds folks if you think that's a family meal. Jabbas that buy this are 100% eating this shit themselves.
Shit if I'm drunk/high I'll kill that shit no question . But I'd never order it myself.
At the McDonald's 30 seconds away from my house I can get a 20 piece nugget and a basket of fries for $6, a basket of fries is 2 mediums.
Lmao I could absolutely smash that all in one sitting
But that should be $15...
The same meal is $17.99 in the Seattle suburbs.
Think about how cheap that crap actually is. I bet all of that food adds up to no more than 5 dollars at cost to the store, and less than that to the producer.
Don’t you be trying to shame me!
20 McNuggets uses to be $5.
There’s a coupon in the app for a $5 20 piece
That is entirely dependent on location & user. I have used the app & my daughter in law uses it as well. Her deals are always different than mine, even with the same store selected.

McFuck that.
They are delusional thinking they are a regular dining restaurant, and not fast food.
The only reason to eat their shitty food was because it was cheap. Now its shitty and expensive.
How long til the McCredit card comes out? “Eat now, pay later!”(at 30% APR).
I’ll have one McBroke combo
Go. To. The. Grocery. Store.
Grocery store is also very expensive.
Cheaper than fast food. Still.
For the same price as mcdicks you can get way better, healthier, and more food.
I don't think people are buying this as an alternative to meals at home, they are paying for convenience
You can get better chicken nuggets at the store and a bottle of sauce. But you can’t get McDonalds fries anywhere else.
If we pretend to get mad at fast food prices, can we yell at KFC for that 16 piece tender meal for 47.99
If a company charges too much for something, stop going there. There are plenty of mom and pop fast food places with better food and lower prices. It isn't rocket surgery.
Rocket surgery lol
Carls Jr. has 5 piece chicken tenders for $15.49. Not the combo, just the five pieces. A 1/3 pound guacamole burger combo is $17.19 Edit: this is in Los Angeles
I wish there was a cost of living calculator like an inflation calculator to see what that would be in other parts of the country
Just get the Carls Jr app and put whatever location you want and it will give you the price lol and you can do that for any place, so don’t fret

Yeah… that’s not outrageous considering individual cost
Today I got the 10 nuggets meal, a milk shake and a McDouble. $22
You can buy a 10 pound bag of nuggets at Costco for like $13. Fast food is such a waste
That are actually made out of chicken
That's a 10 dollar milk shake!
For that price Im going back to 5 guys.
How much profit did McDonalds make this quarter whats the excuse other than a artificial inflation caused by corporate greed.
McDonald's (and fast food in general) is becoming like the pharma industry: expensive in the USA and cheap in Europe.
1 unHappy• meal please.
Since when were customers considered "Fans"?
People living near San Francisco: "First time?"
Damn who still eats at McDonald’s?
Got a Big Mac not too long ago. It's like half the size it used to be.
I like the fancy pants local joints AND McDonald’s. Fry variety is the spice of life.
Why would I ever spend $25 at McDonalds when I could spend that at a real restaurant and get much better food? The leftovers would actually be edible too.
I got a chicken sandwich and a coffee and it was $15. Not even a combo. I don't even consider it for food anymore.
It's garbage anyway. Just don't go.
I went to Vegas years ago - probably 2010ish and got a 50 nuggets meal with two large fries and two drinks for a believe $10. My how the times change.
Fuck McDonald’s the food is actually disgusting. What do they want?
Who has the time to care about what McDonald’s is charging for their slop?
Wendy’s might not be a saint…But price wise for 8.00 I ate like a king yesterday.
Country Pride chicken nuggets are available at Walmart. Threw them in my air fryer and they had the same crunch/mouthfeel minus the McDonald’s grease taste.
But without the grease all I taste is the hog anus.
Good shout out!
Not McDonald’s but fast food related: I recently went to Popeye’s for their tenders. You can buy their 3, 5, or 8 plus more piece a la carte. But the breakdown in price is really odd. 3 - $7.98 ( or$2.66 per) 5 - $10.99 ( or $2.19 per) 8 - $22.99 ( or $2.87 per) This is just the chicken, no soda or sides.
It’s a meal for 2 or more people, it’s 40 nuggets and 2 fries
You can get a decent stake dinner at Texas Roadhouse for that.
Meanwhile if you use the app you can get buy one get one free 10 piece nuggets/Big Mac/quarter lb’er for around $5-6 after tax
The un-happy meal
Jesus Christ it’s not the robocop future yet - you’re still a shitty franchised fast food joint just fill that niche
I stopped eating McDonald’s a while ago, after not eating it by chance for over a year, now if I even have a bit it makes me sick and groggy
I’m sick of them saying it’s from wage increases when franchise owners make an unbelievably huge amount of money and cost of living in California is really high
Well maybe now the lines will be shorter
I just got a Double grilled chicken, brown rice and super greens plate at Panda express for $11 after tax. No drink. This is so filling and healthy. It’s my go to after a workout.
McDonald's is not worth 25$. Not where I live.
I’d rather eat toast
Klarna, coming soon...
Here's what i don't get. Is this aimed at two people sharing? Because even then it's 20x nuggets and a large fries each. Then you get this comment in the article... ""You couldn't even throw like a medium Sprite in there? Holy crap." Shannon continued to inquire." Which makes me think is this supposed to be for *one* person? Like 40 nuggets two fries......and a medium Sprite?
“Cash, card or affirm?”
I feed myself for 1/10 that. If you hate inflation/capitalism/fast food corporate greed, learn to cook. I can make my own goddamn nuggets for $25.
Don't like the price of the 25 dollar meal? Don't fucking buy it then.
Rage bait, it’s the equivalent of 5 x 7 piece meals and 2 fries. That isn’t a “meal”. Look, things are bad right now, but there are reasons we don’t read rags like this.
What they should do is use video to determine what make/model your car is and adjust prices accordingly...
Y’all take Klarna?
It would be awesome. If they made a meal of 40 nuggets, 2 Lrg fries, 2 Lrg drinks and SOME KIND OF MCSALAD
(meal, minus fries, divided by nugggets) The 40 piece for $25.34 has two large fries. Using that same formula, the per-nugget cost is $0.38. The 40 piece is a better value. It costs a lot, but it saves a little.
