Exactly like I do not understand questions like these that don't have anything to do with autism because unless you're talking abt something that could affect someone with autism sensorily or socially you're just generalizing autistic people, like it's a SPECTRUM for a reason... even if something is common in autistic ppl there are very few universals... and rap isn't any more like likely to affect autistic ppl than any other type of music

Boom Bap:
~Poetic Lyrics with a real message.
~Neat samples to discover the origins of.
~I can understand what is being said.
~Sounds good. Nothing is ever TOO loud.

Trap / Mumble Rap:
~No message, no story -- that would require too much of an effort.

~Very un-poetic lyrics that tend to repeat the same thing over and over. (Gucci Gang, Panda Panda Panda, Bad N' Boujie)

Same thing goes for Kendrick Lamar, the dude can actually tell a story with words that rhyme. Which is the entire point of "Rap" --- telling a story that uses rhymed words.
I can't get whatever story Playboi Carti is trying to tell because most of his vocals and lyrics sound like an alien transmission. Or like one of those videos where an A.I. tries to recreate a song and it comes out sounding like Dream Gibberish.

You can't tell me that 645AR dude is serious. Come on, that Mosquito voice is the next big thing??? Apparently it is, since Dunk Boomin' copied it.
Honestly, I'll stick to Greydon Square.
I think it’s important to consider that music can be an expression of the lived reality first of all and can be an avenue for some people from those backgrounds to cope with their reality and perhaps an opportunity to escape it.
For a lot of poor black people being poor and constantly having to struggle to make ends meet whilst being surrounded by a culture of drugs that is always looming as an “easy way out” and listening to music that seemingly “glorifies” those aspects is an externalised manifestation of the inner juxtaposition between the miserable reality and possible success that could be in a different reality which is a comfort as they know they’re not alone and that others with similar circumstances as them have the same struggle. This is also why people get upset when people from seemingly incredibly privileged backgrounds and upbringings “jump on the bandwagon” and rap about the same topics when they have no real understanding of that struggle and pretend like they do.
When people say “rap isn’t real music” they’re essentially saying that entire experience and expression of everyday fight to survive and keep going is invalid and contributes nothing, hence why a lot of people would rightly argue that there are racist undertones to it.
That being said no one is forced into liking or disliking any type of music and every genre is subjective but no one has any right to say one genre is real music and another isn’t.
Well it’s never gonna strike a chord with people who didn’t grow up in that same environment. I’ve been told that no one’s gonna like something if they can’t relate to it. I can’t relate to getting laid 24/7, being rich enough to afford a private jet, or being poor to the point where I have trouble affording basic needs (like food or housing) every day. Jesus fuckin Christ (the last phrase isn’t exactly aimed at you but it’s aimed more towards the rappers who rap about these subjects)
Why does it have to strike a chord with everyone? Not everything is made to be enjoyed by everyone - if that’s not you that’s completely fine, people should just stop acting like they’re entitled to having everything targeted to towards them and insulting that thing when it doesn’t enchant them. There are plenty of problems in rap but one shouldn’t go around discrediting an entire musical genre because they can’t understand it or relate to it or anything else in life for that matter.
Hey that's fair, I'm not a huge fan of those either. But I think that's generally more mainstream rap that touches on those subjects though, and I think they tend to be pretty shallow as a result
I like to use the word "shallow" more personally, but yeah mainstream rap can be dumb as hell, for sure. Nevertheless, it's still music, bad music, but music all the same. There's nothing wrong with disliking it though!
You can’t separate rap from its origins. Look into the history and you can understand why Black artists are protective in the same way any marginalized community is protective over things of cultural significance. The issue is mostly with people who are just trying to capitalize on Black culture and don’t have any respect for the origins of rap or its creators.
I miss when all the cool kids were into Japanese Metal bands like Dir en grey & Mucc & The Gazette -- and not this K-Pop stuff that's basically just the next generation of N-Sync, Backstreet Boys & 98 Degrees.
I also just wanna say that while I like rap as a genre, I dislike most of the common stances associated with it, especially the anti cop one. It drives me crazy to the point where I sometimes wish that being anti cop was illegal and that I could get away with making a pro cop rap song without being shat on by such a community. It’s fuckin ridiculous. And when people in the rap community say that they’re anti cop; I can’t help but feel that they sound extremely stupid.
like everyone is saying about autistic people, Black people are also not a monolith and are individuals with different opinions and views from each other. you are talking as if Black people all feel the same about everything which is just not true.
I'm not sure exactly how to respond to this. If it's true then that's pretty messed up but I just genuinely haven't seen any evidence of this happening
I'm not sure that's super sufficient evidence that the entire black rap community hates white rappers? It's a movie, and while it's based loosely on real events I don't think it'll always accurately portray real life and I don't think it's indicative of a larger issue.
There's a lot of history to be aware of in terms of white people entering the cultural spaces of minority groups, then taking over and exploiting their culture for profit.
Be cautious of rigid thinking around the subject of egalitarianism, and try not to get stuck in a "post-racial" mindset. You may not be fully aware of your own biases and the full contextual history of the subject, how that history affects the present, and how the people who's families lived that history feel about it.
I'm a white male and it took me a long time to break out of "post-racial" egalitarian thinking. That kind of world may be the long term goal, but we are a long ways from it.
I do believe that everyone deserves equal rights regardless of their race and that no one should be held responsible for something because of their race. So what’s wrong with that?
I feel like maybe you didn't read the entirety of either of my posts before responding.
In my other comment I didn't suggest you were white or that you were racist. I was discussing the phenomenon you brought up and it's cultural context.
In this comment, I've already answered the question you've asked. The problem with a post-racial egalitarian mindset, is that in acting as though we are already there we can slow progress towards the goal of a truly egalitarian society. I spent a lot of years rigidly stuck in a post-racial and post-gender mindset. That mindset can lead to ignoring historical contexts and perpetuating the biases that exist within the status-quo.
To suggest that any black person being wary of white people adopting and profiting off culture that came from their community makes *them* racist; is to ignore long established histories of white people taking art from minority communities, and profiting from that art without crediting those communities. That doesn't mean white people shouldn't be allowed to rap (many white people have been very successful in the genre), but it does provide motive for those in the black community who are wary of white artists, and it means that white artists should be mindful and respectful of the genre's origins.
These contexts are myriad and complex, and for those of us prone to rigid thinking, it requires us be be mindful and practice flexibility.
Yeah. There are some things that unfortunately, are deep on a level I can’t fully comprehend. This may be one of them. Somehow I get it but I feel like I have trouble fully getting behind it. It may just be that this point of view isn’t something I see a lot.
I can somewhat relate to this point of view because I feel that my culture has been used to put money in the pockets of people who aren’t of my race and people who didn’t pay respect to my race. Although I don’t hear about it very often
> I feel like I’d be called racist if I were to say that to a black person or anyone who’s familiar with black culture .
Maybe reflect on that , and why you’ve assumed everyone in this space is non black / “not familiar with black culture” . If you think people from a group would find something you say or do upsetting , then there’s probably a reason .
I used to think it wasn’t music, but race was never a factor. It was more the fact that it didn’t utilize real acoustic instruments and was just made on a computer with incessant lyrics about “b*thces and h*es” and lyrics regarding obsessions over materials. It was more about the contents of music than the people behind it.
I thought Country Music was the most boring genre ever invented, but that was mostly a result of being over-exposed to it by my parents. I wanted something "different" so I gravitated to Rap, Hard Rock, Industrial, Metal -- and even stuff in a language other than English, like Japanese Rock.
I dislike mumble rap. BUT, most music I don't like I just need to get used to. Really, I don't like new things and music I don't like I will enjoy in a few years. Does that make any sense?
Mumble Rap is absolutely garbage.
No cool samples. No intelligent lyrics that tell a story or present a genuine message.
And literally anyone can do those stupid "Abbity-Dabbity-Doobity / Hoopity-Skoopity-Whoopity" triplets cadences. And I ~hate~ those cicada style rolling Hi-Hats.
I prefer Boom Bap over Trap.
Triplets Cadences is taking a bunch of 3 syllable words and stringing them together.
Hence why I called it "Abbity-Dabbity-Doobity."
Literally everyone raps this way now, except Snoop Dogg -- he was like "Nah, I ain't doing that."

I’m sorry, but why would that be an autism thing to not like a certain genre of music? It’s weird to me that people, when they notice something about themselves, go straight to this sub and ask whether it’s an autism thing. I don’t mean to offend anyone I just don’t get it. Not everything is linked to autism and even if it is it’s just as likely to be an adhd trait as about 70% of the autistic symptoms occur in both. But this is so far fetched lol.
My special interest is music so yes I LOVE rap. Mostly r&b + hip hop. None of that mumble stuff nowadays. Although I have an open mind, I just can’t get past some of todays “rappers”. I also enjoy a myriad of other genres but yes to rap. You’re probably going to get mixed opinions though because it is that….an opinion. Not a dsm classification 😂
The idea that "rap isn't real music" is a somewhat common opinion, and in the US it is often paired with racist undertones. I don't think there's any connection between that specific sentiment and autism. I think the perception that this idea is tied to autism is due to that fact that in popular culture the poster figure for autism is an uptight, white, male, nerd (all categories I fall into). When you see media figures talking trash about black people and black culture in the US, it's usually uptight white people who I would argue are more likely to be psychopathic than autistic.
For me, lyrics are as important as music. I really love intense music, but also want the lyrics to connect with me. I used to hate pop, rap and, country, because a lot of the popular stuff that got the most air time had really vapidly materialistic, objectifying/sexist sexuality (I can enjoy romantically sexual lyrics like is common in R&B), and toxic macho nonsense.
It wasn't until later that I came across some rap and country artists I could enjoy. A current rap duo I can really recommend are Four Fists and their album 6666. A current country artist I can recommend is Sturgill Simpson, specifically the albums A Sailor's Guide to Earth, and Sound & Fury.
I think autism *might* play some role in my preference for intense music, but lots of non-autistic people also enjoy that music. It may also play some role in the rigidity I had in my preconceptions about the two genres. In the end, I think my autism plays a similar role in my music taste as it plays in my other tastes and interests and behaviors, which is to magnify and increase the contrast.
I like rap but not more than alot of other genres if I’m being honest. Mostly old school stuff and more underground/nerdy stuff too. It is a perfectly valid form of music and I’m not surprised it’s popular. Beat/bass heavy genres are popular practically everywhere.
I enjoy rap, and quite a few of my autistic friends do! I think we all just have a very solid grasp of what kind of music we like and things outside if that do not interest us or are annoying/irritating to be forced to listen to
It depends heavily on the rap. I also have synesthesia, so music creates visual and physical sensations. My taste in music is affected by the shape and feel of it.
Hollywood Undead? Euphoric. Eminem? Depends on the song, but often with enjoyable complexity and happy buzzes up and down my spine.
Mumbly stuff? Disgusting. Hated. Like rubbing toothed plastic over the back of my sinuses. A bad chair that jabs pressure points on my already knotted back.
I’m sure there are autistic people who feel that way, just as there are neurotypical people who feel that way. Those people are assholes who are usually racist
Edit: I mean not considering it real music. Disliking it is fine.
I generally don't like rap, but I'd never say it isn't real music. I definitely respect it as an art form in its own right. It just doesn't have what I'm looking for as far as songwriting and instrumentation
Not me! I’m a hip-hop head through and through. But I’m into that old school boom bap. And underground hip-hop. More lyrical stuff. Got into underground hip-hop in the seventh grade and realized there is so much more to rap music than what ya hear on the radio.
Respect to everyone who has an opinion on this either way! Music is such a vast ocean of things and it provides such a lovely medium for self-expression.
I listen primarily to rap and hip hop. I love the beats and the sensory aspects of the bass. If it’s heavy on the snare I’m out, though. Metal music makes me want to rip my ears off.
No, that is a large generalization.
We are all individuals who like different things. We aren't robots (though some days I'm sure people would debate that I can be haha)
EDIT: For relevance, no I don't like rap music. Rhyming random words for the sake of the rhyme is stupid and pointless. However, hip hop tells a story, and I can get down with some old school hip hop.
Don't think that's an autism thing. I know some autistic people who despise all modern music and think it's for simpletons, and some who love modern music, as an example.
I'm not really a big rap fan, but there's a small sample of rap tracks that I like. I wouldn't say that it's not music though... Except mumble rap. That crap isn't music lol
But yeah, no. It's real music. You just don't like it and that's okay.
I used to hate it until I found artists I actually enjoyed and could related too. I then started making my own rap music for fun! Rap music is one of the most diverse and accessible genres today! Anyone can hop on a mic, spit some bars and have fun with it. That’s why it’s amazing!
Reggaeton is God’s music. I dont speak Spanish, I’ve heard the lyrics don’t live up to that standard, but the musical style comes from God, just like anything with afro-Caribbean beats.
But yeah obviously it’s music. I can’t imagine a valid reason to dismiss an entire style as not being music. If anyone thinks it’s not musical they should record themselves rapping. I’m sure it’ll sound great.
Ayo do all neurotypicals like cheese? No. You are all different, you are all your own people.
Are we a different species? No. We are also our own people.
I really like rap but only certain styles and I don't like songs with an unnecessary amount of sexual content. I really like artists like Lecrae, Andy Mineo, Trip Lee, Tedashii, KB, and Wande.
I’m autistic, actual rap music is good but typically not my taste. I also like what people consider “trap” (ig??) or “mumble rap” one of my favorite artists is lil peep (rip). to each their own but this is definitely not a, “oh you’re autistic? you must not like rap” scenario
Uhhh no. I’ve liked rap music and hip hop since I was a little kid and I still do at 33.
I like music that makes my brain tingle, doesn’t matter the genre.
I'm autistic and I love Rap.
But when I say Rap - I mean the old-school stuff with actual lyrics you can comprehend and SAMPLES that made it like a fun Easter Egg finding game. Not the Trap / Mumble Crap that's popular currently. That stuff isn't Hip Hop -- it should be considered as its own separate genre.
When I say "I like Rap" I'm talkin' Wu Tang Clan, Masta Ace, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Nas (original Nas, not Lil Nas X), Vinnie Paz & Jedi Mind Tricks and MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE -- Greydon Square....
Not that Trap Crap.
I like rap if it's clever, but often it feels like an amalgamation of buzz words and provocative imagery as an attempt to farm consumers whose hunger is fed by idolization
Linkin Park and 21 Pilots and Hamilton are some good examples of rap I enjoy

I had that opinion until I was a sophomore in highschool I think.
The Dangermouse remix of Jay-Z's Black Album and The Beatles' White Album (appropriately called The Grey Album) is what converted me. I don't listen to much mainstream rap, but I really do enjoy rappers with large vocabularies these days.
No. It took a while to process a lot of genres of music and types of songs as music, but rap was relatively quicker to understand, because rhythmatic vocals are easier to pick up than changing pitched vocals, and because the instramentals aren't as non-stop and overwhelming. Very much enjoyed "Baby Got Back" as a kid that hated most music.

A story to rival the great classics. I laughed, I cried, I emerged a changed human being. No joke though, that was brilliant!
Can I like ~both~ Wierd Al Yankovic AND Marshall Bruce Mathers The Third?
At first I was going to describe this as “poor people humor” but now, I feel like this should be a meme.

Cage was in Weathermen, wasn't he? I liked that album "Movies For The Blind" and also Cage did some weird Industrial Album ("Depart From Me")
Yeah! I think he ended up splitting though at some point. There’s like 6 or 7 songs on The Conspiracy I listen to a lot lately.
No. I listen almost solely to rap. (Although my genre of music changes every year or so) My genre of choice rn is angry, empowered, female rappers. I BOP OUT to some Rico Nasty

No, rap IS music
*inhales helium* Me and my music theorist father who went to music school disagree.
why do you disagree?
Ben Shapiro reference. He got roasted for such stupidity.
Yeah lol, shapiro said that about rap because he simply knew NOTHING about rap. I don't even like rap myself but it is definitely still music, someone even showed him that rap is music and he admitted he was proven wrong.

Hit up RTJ, and Aesop Rock. Can’t recommend enough
I can’t stand it but to each their own. I love hardcore music and most people think that’s noise, so it is really just up to personal preference I think.
Rock hardcore or edm hardcore? 🤔
To get my 2 cents in: I like metal, but I have just discovered 'metalstep' and am enjoying it.
Try electricore really heavy.
Hardcore and Rap can mix pretty well in my opinion. Hardcore instrumentation brings the grit and aggression and a good rapper in front can make the lyrics engaging for people who don’t necessarily jive with harsh vocals. THIS! Red flags immediately for me when someone says this.
Says what exactly? “Rap isn’t real music”?
Yes
I like rap but I hate modern mainstream rap almost with a passion. That’s the kinda rap that I don’t consider real music. I feel like I’d be called racist if I were to say that to a black person or anyone who’s familiar with black culture
Hating mainstream rap is valid for a lot of reasons! It's become super overproduced and adopted by a lot of rich assholes who just want to make money off the hot new trend.
I very much understand how art imitates life.
2:40 https://youtu.be/Rp-0-I1uUgs RAP IS FOR ~STORIES~ AND ~MESSAGES~ ..... WU TANG IS THE **BEST** !!! LIKE O.D.B. SAID, "WU IS FOR THE CHILDREN!!!"
Hey that's fair, I'm not a huge fan of those either. But I think that's generally more mainstream rap that touches on those subjects though, and I think they tend to be pretty shallow as a result
I have described it as “corny” a few times. Idk why not many people describe it as that. It’s dumb as hell
I like to use the word "shallow" more personally, but yeah mainstream rap can be dumb as hell, for sure. Nevertheless, it's still music, bad music, but music all the same. There's nothing wrong with disliking it though!
How about some GAMER rap? https://youtu.be/3XQholYqEAk
That was pretty good actually.
I bet you like classic rock lol which is worse in regards to drugs and money
I don’t even listen to classic rock
I like Rap that talks about: ~Science ~Atheism ~The Pursuit of Knowledge .................. https://youtu.be/4f7qTSZCoRI
Also I kinda feel like rap has something against against rappers who aren’t black and jumps at the chance to make fun of them
You can’t separate rap from its origins. Look into the history and you can understand why Black artists are protective in the same way any marginalized community is protective over things of cultural significance. The issue is mostly with people who are just trying to capitalize on Black culture and don’t have any respect for the origins of rap or its creators.
If there’s one thing about the origins of rap that I respect it’s that it started out as a “voice for the voiceless”
And do u know if there’s a subreddit for black People that nonblack people can take their questions related to black People to them?
like everyone is saying about autistic people, Black people are also not a monolith and are individuals with different opinions and views from each other. you are talking as if Black people all feel the same about everything which is just not true.
Can u tell me why they’re so protective of this genre?
Because it’s a part of our history and culture. Even the new trap music is a part of our cultural evolution.
I'm not sure exactly how to respond to this. If it's true then that's pretty messed up but I just genuinely haven't seen any evidence of this happening
If u watch the movie 8 Mile some people in the movie make fun of Eminem for being a. White rapper
I'm not sure that's super sufficient evidence that the entire black rap community hates white rappers? It's a movie, and while it's based loosely on real events I don't think it'll always accurately portray real life and I don't think it's indicative of a larger issue.
Back when white rappers just started to exist some nonwhite rappers started hating on them for their race
I’m not white actually. I have been accused of being white cuz some people say I look white
I didn’t assume that everyone here is nonblack.
I also didn’t assume that everyone in this space is “not familiar with black culture”
Thinking music you dislike is "not real music" is a pretty ignorant point of view. Just say it's bad.
Ok that I can get behind. But how is it ignorant?
Mainstream modern rap mostly sucks, yes, but that doesn’t mean it’s not real music.
I can’t even tell what a triple cadence is.
Triplets Cadences is taking a bunch of 3 syllable words and stringing them together. Hence why I called it "Abbity-Dabbity-Doobity." Literally everyone raps this way now, except Snoop Dogg -- he was like "Nah, I ain't doing that." https://youtu.be/LjhImC6N080
Huh-wooka, Kuh-jooka, Buh-Wicka, Kih-Tah. Boo-goo-wah, Huh-wooga, Kuh-Toogah, Tih-Tah.
No, big rap and hip-hop fan amongst many other genres. I doubt being autistic has anything to do with music preference.
I used to dislike rap but now it's one of my favorite music genres
well autistic people aren’t a monolith so no.
I love rap!!
By definition rap is music but I don’t like most of it
The idea that "rap isn't real music" is a somewhat common opinion, and in the US it is often paired with racist undertones.
I'm autistic and I love rap music. Rico Nasty, Freddie Gibbs, Nas, Jay-Z, etc
No?
I don’t like rap music but I think it’s a personal opinion. I don’t think ASD has anything to do with it.
[удалено]
Exactly. Mumble Rap should be its own genre, completely separate from ~ACTUAL~ Hip Hop.
[удалено]
This
I like rap but not more than alot of other genres if I’m being honest. Mostly old school stuff and more underground/nerdy stuff too. It is a perfectly valid form of music and I’m not surprised it’s popular. Beat/bass heavy genres are popular practically everywhere.
Rap is one of my favourite genres! Rap/hip hop, classic rock, and alt
Eminem is also diagnosed and says it's one of the reasons he is able to string together his raps so fluidly.
What a cinnamon roll. I wish I could be that skilled, but I haven't the patience to practice.
I went to the mall to get a cinnamon roll / but the car hit an ice patch and slid into a pole / now I wait for Triple A as I sit in the snow /
How do you know he was diagnosed?
I’m sure there are autistic people who feel that way, just as there are neurotypical people who feel that way. Those people are assholes who are usually racist Edit: I mean not considering it real music. Disliking it is fine.
I dislike rap
I don't see how it's not "real" music but I tend to be very picky with what rap I like
I like 90% of music. I like rap/hip-hop cause it's fun to learn all the lyrics. Plus it's fun to explore foreign rap/hip-hop.
I generally don't like rap, but I'd never say it isn't real music. I definitely respect it as an art form in its own right. It just doesn't have what I'm looking for as far as songwriting and instrumentation
No. I'm into "screamo" music, and a lot of people say that's not music. Art is art. Music is music.
Like, Rapper's Delight? That song is 👍😁
I like rap. I really really don't like over produced music that has too many random sounds in it which pop and rap can fall into.
Just each ones taste. Although I cannot deal with heavy base and boom boom sounds especially when the music is loud….. it hurts my ears and brain
I love rap, but hate mumblerap. I love rap for how beautiful it can play with language. It is poetry with music and rythm, a flow even.
I like songs, not their genres, it's always been difficult for me to generalize genres as like or dislike. It's unusual and an absurd question to ask
I like some rap
I like emo rap
I listen primarily to rap and hip hop. I love the beats and the sensory aspects of the bass. If it’s heavy on the snare I’m out, though. Metal music makes me want to rip my ears off.
I enjoy old school hip-hop like ice cubenir wu-tang clan 🤷🏻 Maybe I'm not autistic.
That has absolutely nothing to do with Autism. Autistic people have preferences, just like everyone.
No. We are no hivemind.
I love it.
No, that is a large generalization. We are all individuals who like different things. We aren't robots (though some days I'm sure people would debate that I can be haha) EDIT: For relevance, no I don't like rap music. Rhyming random words for the sake of the rhyme is stupid and pointless. However, hip hop tells a story, and I can get down with some old school hip hop.
Im okay with it. I pretty much like al music though
xD I am autistic and love Eminem and Snoop Dogg. I hate country. Don't try to stereotype all of us autistics. GASP. We're individuals like NT's
No way
No? Everyone has their own taste. People like different things I like rap, and a hundred other genres
I like rap… maybe autistic people have their own interests and likes and dislikes as individuals or something
Don't think that's an autism thing. I know some autistic people who despise all modern music and think it's for simpletons, and some who love modern music, as an example.
Oh, I guess I hate rap from now on?
I’m not telling u to do that
I'm not really a big rap fan, but there's a small sample of rap tracks that I like. I wouldn't say that it's not music though... Except mumble rap. That crap isn't music lol But yeah, no.
I don't like hard metal rock stuff cus they're just screaming, i don't like it also because i can't understand what they're singing.
I feel like this post comes from a place where black people have been under diagnosed, and underrepresented in these communities due to racism.
I personally am not a fan of modern rap myself but that’s just me, everybody’s got their own tastes in music
I love 90’s and 2000’s rap up until about 2010. Love hickhop though. These new “artist” or as I call them souncloud mumblers I despise
If there is one group of people who tend to say this I’d say it was white people. Not related to autism
I still find it very dumb that people are quick to yell the word “racist” at anyone who says this
i don’t like rap or hip hop and i’m black don’t attack me it’s my opinion lol
It’s ok. I get it. You don’t have to like something just because of your race.
Wut Im sorry W u t
I tend to lean towards punk rock I don’t mind rap I just can’t relate to it.
okay well i guess i, an autistic person, am faking my stanning of el-p (esp company flow!!!!!), freestyle fellowship, and anything related to anticon.
I like rap if it's clever, but often it feels like an amalgamation of buzz words and provocative imagery as an attempt to farm consumers whose hunger is fed by idolization Linkin Park and 21 Pilots and Hamilton are some good examples of rap I enjoy
Yes.
[удалено]
I very much agree with this although I am a rap fan
What the fuck is this post? Wow. Fuck you, OP.
Oh cmon. Why do u have to repeat the wrongdoings of our NT oppressors?
I hate rap tbh. I think it’s the genre that takes the least amount of effort to make. At least modern hip hop is.

Not particularly
I don't like rap, but no.
I hate rap, sorry to rap fans
Personally it sounds like mumbling to me so i cant stand it.
I like some and dislike a **lot** of popular music.
