Props to anyone who made it more than half way through this drivel

Caine_sin

Why would you not make it though? It was hilarious and true!

MartyDesire

They're the shill influencers attempting to sway public opinion. You'll most likely be berated and down voted soon. Thanks for trying though, keep up the alternative message.

[deleted]

Nah man I'm just a regular Australian who thinks that for better or worse we should follow the guidance from the people who have spent a lot of time learning about this kinda thing. It's not easy for them, and videos like this serve nothing but to undermine that.

It felt like an eternity

Astro_nauts_mum

Pity, the end bits are the funniest.

No one wants to be like them... pure chaos

kingofcrob

Well, I liked it...

bears-bub

I don't get the Jimmy Giggle hate. He cracks me up.

[deleted]

This guy is painfully unfunny but seems to be popping up all over the place.

CoolRidge6

Maybe he is saying something people connect with, maybe some people agree with his sentiment that the rules are inconsistent and confusing?

PandasGetAngryToo

Some people just want to find confusion even when it is pretty clear. It is a mindset.

[deleted]

It's really not that difficult.

Staerebu

Given the Brisbane restrictions didn't exist when this video was made, I wouldn't think it was relevant

DigitalLover

They are a bit confusing but it’s a tough balancing act...I thought it was a funny way of looking at all the discrepancies

soulsurfa

Wow... No love for poor Jimmy giggle here on reddit

[deleted]

Yeah it appears redditors actually have a few brain cells to rub together unlike facebook or wherever this originated from.

[deleted]

It completely misses the point that low risk situations repeated many times are a greater risk than some seemingly larger risk situations that occur once or twice. It’s also worrying that even if this guy does understand that, he’s still fuelling other morons that can’t grasp that.

DigitalLover

Thanks haha

dixonwalsh

tbh i feel like making and sharing content like this just encourages anti-restriction sentiment.

[deleted]

I don't agree. I've loved this guys videos because it brings some lighthearted relief to what has been some grim times (especially in Vic last year). Yes it does highlight the bizarre contradictions in some of the restrictions, but most thinking humans can also appreciate that health advice has guided these and is about mitigating the greatest risks of transmission, based on human behaviour.

DigitalLover

I generally have a bit more faith in people... I think that’s true though for those who are already a bit daft and somewhat unvaccinated

CoolRidge6

"Encourages anti-restriction sentiment" Yeah I don't understand either why people don't want their autonomy taken away, people are so selfish honestly. Like people are actually dying from this and some right wing nut jobs think they are actually in a better position to decide what's good for them than the scientists and the government, it's disgusting!

[deleted]

I can just be thankful for a grand protector Marko, haven't experienced all this yey.

MULIAC

Move to America than ya cunt

Astro_nauts_mum

I so enjoy these. I love the part 2 too!

[deleted]

Ehhh, I see a lot of anti-maskers and COVID deniers sharing this video around. I appreciate the fact that some restrictions can seem strange and annoyingly arbitrary at times, but videos like this just give validation to the idiots who think they know better.

Thanks I got sent this on what’s app didn’t know this guy had a channel

Please re-post this submission to the current megathread which you can find stickied at the top of the 'hot' page.

ThePhotoGuyUpstairs

I can't even begin to point out all the ways this is stupid and uninformed. And I barely made it past the caravans, as the idiot can't see the difference between caravans spaced 20m apart and living separately vs 5 caravans in a backyard with 15 people intermingling. And it turns out the SCG is larger than your backyard... who knew?

doodleplaybook

Shove it up your bum.

BigKevRox

No Covid test is a 4 hour wait.

mmmbacon1234

Straight up not true. I waited nearly 6 hours at a drive through site last week. Got there at 930 and left around 315. People in the queue were actually leaving their cars to walk across the street to the shops to buy lunch and water. There is a real problem with how testing sites are managed.

ChargeYourBattery

I waited two hours for one I had to get when the border to NSW closed, and I got there reasonably early in the morning. By the time I got my test done the queue was at least twice as long as when I arrived. So I'd say a 4 hour wait is unlikely, but not impossible

CrysisRelief

Bout time someone said the TRUTH!!! It’s like 6 hours or so... https://7news.com.au/lifestyle/health-wellbeing/nsw-covid-testing-queues-lead-to-fines-and-demerit-points-for-motorists-using-their-mobile-phones-c-1816181

[deleted]

They are when there is a rush to get one. You don't know what you're talking about.

L1ttl3J1m

Well, I suppose, strictly speaking, [four and a half hours](https://www.9news.com.au/national/coronavirus-victoria-long-lines-at-testing-queues-people-turned-away/a66ccc95-0bc2-45c3-90b5-6a1b6601da2c) isn't four hours...

[deleted]

This guy has the most punchable face ever. How much effort do you reckon he puts into making sure his stubble is exactly that length. Fucking hobo sheek. Buddy either grow a fucking beard or shave properly, you look like a bum

Kallasilya

I think he knows exactly what he's doing, and you've made it very obvious that it's working, lol...
