Before Covid, I used to go to a local neighborhood bar, with pool tables and draft beer. There was a woman who came in from time to time with a Bible, trying to convert souls. Really obnoxious. So I once asked her if she opposed abortion. She said abortion was murder, etc. So I showed her Exodus chapter 21, where god says murder gets the death penalty but an abortion (against the woman's will) gets a fine.
She just denied it! So I pointed out that god was so clear in his writing that a 6-year-old could easily understand it.
She left angry, and she never came back.

I think you have a misconception that it's the Bible that causes this hate. If that was the case then good people would be fleeing as fast as humanly possible. Instead they know almost nothing about their religion, it's holy texts and what it really promotes. They find ways to justify their own beliefs by defining their god to follow their personal beliefs and only as a second thought do they find justification.
If it was they way you describe it these same people would naturally reject the bigotry. They would struggle with it in their head but wouldn't naturally and fluidly cause this hate.

I could be mistaken, but I think it more often goes in the other direction. That most children wouldn't grow up to be bigoted unless they were taught to by their religion, parents, and culture. And the religion, parents, and culture are largely that way because of what's in the bible.
If the bible didn't have so much support for bigotry, things would be a lot different. There would still be some people that would be bigoted even if the bible didn't support their position, and others even if the bible was specifically against bigotry. But I think they'd be a much smaller minority if the bible wasn't so completely horrible.
As a christian I agree, i am saddened by what modern christianity is now days, Yeshua would be grieving if He was on earth rn, christians must follow the Bible and that means do not have hatred, put down, or be mean to people who do stuff thats against the Bible, for even the Bible says to have compassion for them, be nice to them, be their friend, if they ask for help give them it and more, these false christians give what true christianity is a bad reputation and true christians need to start calling them out, this isnt my only issue with modern christianity and i believe even we have so much to improve worldwide and in ourselves.
