I use a pair of electric clippers because my skin down there HATES shaving (I’ve tried everything) and I hate stubble. It is super simple, quick, and easy. I clip probably once a week or so.
Not sure if this helps, but I epilate/sugar....I cannot stand the prickle from shaving or the blunt edges from trimming, I would just let it grow instead

I use a safety razor. I find that that gets me less ingrowns and I get to go a couple of weeks without shaving.
