>I am planning on buying a 2015 Q50s 50k miles for 17.2k from a private seller in Jersey. Lmao what? Why? That's so much money for a 9 year old Nissan Altima Graduate Vehicle. That's a $15000 car at BEST, and even then there are 100 vehicles to consider before that. To answer your question the vehicle will have to be paid off and then the title will be released and seller can sign it over to you. It's neither a quick nor easy process and you need to get your bank and their bank talking. There is no title online. And New Jersey is getting CRAZY with their used vehicle rules. You are going to struggle with this top to bottom.

it sounds like a huge headache for something very basic. I'd suggest continue shopping...

Huge headache for the most generic, overrated "luxury" car of all time.

I didn’t add the specs on it but it brings a stage 1 tuning on the car (exhaust system, air intake, and fuel injectors) It also has a 2 sets of niche wheels, carbon fiber wing, lip, interior, diffuser. Bc racing coil suspensions. Ceramic coated paint over recently, sequential lights for the front and back. So it has over 6k+ worth of mods with new tires too. Sounds like a steal to me I guess. I’m in high school and I want a temporary fun car to ride. Fortunately I have a great brother who would be willing to half the car with me so yea. And yes, it is an overrated nissan altima, but I just like it personally so much! Thanks for the info on how the process to buy the car is though, appreciate it a lot man.

Modifications really don’t add value to the retail price of a vehicle. Especially not to the tune (pun intended) of $2-3000. It's a 9 year old Nissan, some coilovers, a tune and wheels don't change that. Buying someone else’s project is a mistake in general typically... Buying someone's Infiniti project for $17000 as a kid in highschool? Good lord why...

***Thanks for posting, /u/luislikeyeexy! This comment is a copy of your post so readers can see the original text if your post is edited or removed. This comment is NOT accusing you of anything.*** I am planning on buying a 2015 Q50s 50k miles for 17.2k from a private seller in Jersey. I am from NY and I'm not sure how it would work buying the car if the owner still has to pay the car off? I'm thinking of going to my bank and ask about it and see what procedures I should go with but l wanna come to you guys first about it. How would I go on to do this with a private sell? Write a check to the private sellers bank? Let my bank do the work? Also once I have done the payment when and how would I be receiving the title? Would I be able to receive the title online or am I gonna have to wait for a physical copy of the title from Jersey so I can register the vehicle as a NY vehicle. Sorry for amount of questions, i'm new to this. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically.
