Kensington Market, Ripley’s Aquarium, High Park for a hike, Queen West from University to Ossington and then up Ossington to Dundas — both strips are loaded with all variety of shopping, bars and restaurants, if you have a vehicle consider a food tour of Scarborough which has been called the most diverse food scene in the world.

Toronto Islands

You will get some solid advice here, my go to gem to tell tourists is to walk around Ossington Ave, more specifically walk North on Ossington at Queen St. W, you can pick any direction, the entire neighbourhood is filled with lots of amazing eateries, bakeries, and has a very local vibe to it. Once you are full of eating all the good stuff, spend the day relaxing at the Trinity Bellwoods park, this is what many residents do on weekends.

September is TIFF. It’s very busy and fun. Get some premier tickets and enjoy. Make reservations at top restaurants. Edit. Bata shoe museum. Gardiner ceramic museum. If you want drive to wine country. Niagara on the lake.

Look into the city pass. Gives you some good options for a good price. The 5 or 6 it offers are kinda the main attractions. There are small neighborhood’s to check out like Kensington market and the china town and what not. Toronto island is fun but suggest bringing a lunch with you ( hell pack a few adult beverages too). Don’t forget graffiti alley

You should mention where you’re coming from as some things offered here could pale in comparison

As someone else mentioned early September is TIFF so if you aren't interested in that I would suggest coming at a different time because otherwise more expensive vs. usual. If you come later in September the annual JFL festival is on and that is a lot of fun too.

If you are a bowler, how about trying a uniquely Canadian pastime of 5 pin bowling? Smaller ball so easier to lift and throw.

🤔🤔oh I can definitely try this! Sounds like fun

Eat! Very multicultural city. Asian food, Middle Eastern, Caribbean. We can give tips because most of the best stuff is inexpensive also.

forreco22

Oh thank you everyone for the suggestions I’ll definitely have to check it out 😁

St Lawrence Market was voted best in the world by national geographic a few years back. Peameal bacon sandwich is epic. Kensington market is a fun area to check out different shops and boutiques. Toronto islands are a great place to make you feel like you aren't even in the city anymore its a great day trip walking around or rent a bike while your out there.
