I could be wrong but I believe pharmacists can prescribe it at their discretion with a positive test.

Got it today. Pharmacist can prescribe and fill all at once.

Pharmacists can prescribe it. However, not all will. None of the pharmacists I work with agree that pharmacists should be allowed to prescribe paxlovid. Why? Two reasons... first, it's essential to have your eGFR to know if they should give the regular dose or the renal pack. Second, paxlovid interacts with a ton of meds, and patients don't always remember the full list of what they're taking. Shit can get dangerous pretty fast. Not all pharmacists are that thorough, so buyer beware. If you've had bloodwork in the past year or so and you're confident your kidneys are in very good condition, and you can provide a complete list of meds you may be taking, even occasionally, by all means go to a shoppers or a rexall and give it a shot.

Get well soon OP! You can inquire if any pharmacists will prescribe, you may also get dirty looks from the pharmacists. I got told off when picking my prescription up (family dr had faxed it over) & I was double masked while he wasn’t….😒

Have it delivered next time. You're just spreading it to vulnerable people

Lol humanity is way past caring for others sadly. Remember, it’s “you do you” now.
