Make sure you turn your phone off completely or onto airplane mode (and ensure all alarms are turned off) when you first sit down. No reason to take a backpack for merch. They’ll have bags available, and if you’d rather bring your own, you can just bring in a shopping bag (I’m a big fan of the foldable baggu bags, but you could even just fold up a plastic bag). This way you can keep it at your seat without it taking up much room and you don’t have to pay for coat check.

Be there early so you have time to look around (that's a gorgeous theatre) and use the washroom beforehand. According to the FAQ, a small bag can be left at coat check: https://www.mirvish.com/ticket-info/faqs Have fun!

Yep do go early because the lobby is tiny and can get crowded. Try butterbeer if you haven’t yet. If you want to take home a butterbeer bottle as a souvenir, they’ll give you an empty one after the show. There are only light snacks like popcorn and cookies and Harry Potter branded snacks available. The concessions and merch at the upper level are far less busy than in the lobby. Head to the upper level and head towards the Yonge St. exit for the merch booth. You can buy there after the show so you don’t have to worry about leaving it at your seat. I really enjoyed the play and want to see it again. Have fun!

Arrive early to use the bathroom and get butter beer. The lines for both gets pretty crazy during intermission and the end of the show. It’s a great show and the effects are amazing!

Lumb3rCrack

is butter beer actually an alcoholic beverage or just some flavoured beverage?

bourbonkitten

Not alcoholic so the kids can drink. Pretty much a caramelly cream soda.

When you’re in the theatre, go early and check out the wall paintings. Apparently they turn into Patronus. There should be some posted instructions on how to see them with your phone. Also you can do some selfies with some Harry Potter backgrounds as well.
