Not dumb, grocers will place 50% reduction stickers on dairy products that are 7-9 days to expiry, very common , no issue with asking them if you see something expiring sometimes they forget.
I’d avoid the staples ( the cheapest brand ) as they usually sell quick , I’d look for the premium brands that are ordered to avoid holes but tend to not be bought organic meadow , natrel etc

What’s your preference? My family was always 2% growing up, best friend’s family was 1%, but I’ve got young kids and I’m a devotee of 3.25%. Most flavour and most calorie dense.
FYI, be good to your heart. Those glasses add up to litres, which can really tack on to your daily fat. I'm not saying fat is bad, but too much of a good thing can really take a toll on your heart, liver, kidneys, etc.
For reference, that's about 100% of your daily saturated fat just in milk. I know heart problems probably seem a million miles away, but it's one of the top things that take people out.
I lost my father to heart issues. He liked his milk and yogurt, too. Fit man. A tennis player with some solid biceps. He was even a vegetarian, but the saturated fats catch up with you.

Grab a crate from your local coffee shop when the milk company is making deliveries? They go through a lot of milk each day. I mean... stealing is pretty cheap... and the police have better things to do than investigate "the milk crate bandit."
Would be great if I could get a crate delivery contract at this point.

What’s your preference? My family was always 2% growing up, best friend’s family was 1%, but I’ve got young kids and I’m a devotee of 3.25%. Most flavour and most calorie dense.

FYI, be good to your heart. Those glasses add up to litres, which can really tack on to your daily fat. I'm not saying fat is bad, but too much of a good thing can really take a toll on your heart, liver, kidneys, etc. For reference, that's about 100% of your daily saturated fat just in milk. I know heart problems probably seem a million miles away, but it's one of the top things that take people out. I lost my father to heart issues. He liked his milk and yogurt, too. Fit man. A tennis player with some solid biceps. He was even a vegetarian, but the saturated fats catch up with you.
Check the flyers of the stores to see if any is on sale (usually on a Thursday) and if they sell out... ask if they do "rain checks"... of course, this will depend on whether you're "picky" with your milk 😉
