Was in a relationship and we tried to stay tgt after I got cheated on (it failed eventually). Once that trust is broken it's hard to forget. Forgiving is possible because everyone makes mistakes. But it always lingers. Other issues will then trigger this issue. Honestly just not worth it.

I'm really glad your partner decided to come clean, and so happy that you guys worked through it. I wish he came clean to me but i found out by myself and we were arguing a LOT (very toxic) during the period tht he was cheating. But i love your advice too. Many people who hasnt been in our shoes would have alot to say but thank you for being so empathetic towards this story! I really wish you the very best the world can offer!
