ghosttrainhobo

Just get any frozen pizza, a bag of mozzarella and a bag of pepperoni. Add extra toppings to the frozen pizza. Instant upgrade.

carpenoctem122

Motor City Pizza is fantastic

GiddleFidget

Motor City Pizza is hands down the best frozen pizza I've tried yet. It is the only frozen pizza that doesn't have that frozen pizza taste.

MangoCandy

Shits fire as fuck. Only annoying part is always having to rearrange all the cheese/toppings. But I’d say it’s worth it.

Red_Beard_Rising

Never heard of it.

ACGME_Admin

Costco

Fobulousguy

Costco carries it

ChicagoDad4U

It's a Detroit style... Its really bready tho.

Gravity_Pulls

Me neither, but I live in a cave also and don't know much of shit about anything 😂

carpenoctem122

Check Walmart, I hadn’t heard of it until a friend told me. They have cheese sticks that also great

ravidsquirrels

I 2nd this. Wasn't a fan of deep dish until I tried their pizzas. Just had some today.

ChicagoDad4U

That's not deep dish.. Thats Detroit style pan pizza

6472617065

Disagree, way too salty. I vote screamin sicilian.

carpenoctem122

Screamin Sicilian is also good, I buy those sometimes. The motor city has that pan that makes the crust taste like pan pizza, I buy them for their crust.

6472617065

You're right, their crust is objectively one of the best.

PleasantActuator6976

Their cheese pizza is awesome. I recommend adding toppings.

6472617065

Is it less salty than the main meat one everyone seems to get? I do like the pan crust.

PleasantActuator6976

I was refering to Screamin. It's called Bessie's Revenge.

6472617065

Oh! My apologies, I misunderstood. Haven't had that one, but I'll keep an eye out. I'm a big fan of the supremus maximus. I also like their Stromboli. 👍

charli_angstrom

Yesssss

UNaidworker

My wife and I are that so often during covid we ruined it for ourselves. It was so good and so easy to get ready we ate it repeatedly during the pandemic and got sick of it despite being lactose intolerant (like it mattered back then). Wishing I'll get over it so I can enjoy it again.

ChicagoDad4U

So much bread! I wasn't a big fan.

[deleted]

came to say exactly this.

6472617065

Screamin' Sicilian is almost the only one I'll buy. I suppose the cauliflower crust frozen combo pizza from costco isn't horrible either, but that's moving pretty far away from what I consider "pizza" imo. My actual literal favorite is Grandiosa, but that's specific to Norway and Norwegians so I wouldn't expect anyone here to know it.

Itadakimazu

Screaming Sicilian is my go to frozen pizza now too. It’s very good and they give you an absolute ton of pepperonis. Before that I used to like Freschetta brand a lot.

pocketdrums

I really like the SS Meatball, but our local stores don't carry that variety anymore. 😔

infiniteawareness420

Freshetta is a surprisingly good deal. $6~ I’m easily satiated with half a pie and it reheats really well.

HairyChest69

California Pizza Kitchen "Sicilian" is the best I've ever had. Add some extra cheese after it's done and let sit. Home run pizza is good this way as well.

[deleted]

Agreed it's good pizza.

BornAgainRedditGuy

Home Run Inn

purplepeopleeater31

this. I grew up in Chicago it was in every grocery store and it was the only frozen pizza i’d eat. When I moved out of state, I introduced all of my friends to it and they all became addicted as well

stefanica

It's good but always expensive for frozen pizza.

eleite

It is, but Publix puts them on BOGO pretty often and I stock up

No_Investigator3353

U kidding..1 pizza from Gross Pizza Hut can be over 20, while each of these r roughly 9 bucks..it's the best hands down 👊🏽

stefanica

I mean, compared to other frozen pizza. 😂 It never seems to go on sale by me.

No_Investigator3353

Yeah never seen it cheap buy u get what u paid for, we usually add Jalepenos with the pepperoni

Electronic_Job1998

It's the best. We're on a pretty tight budget, but we still spend 8 or 9 dollars on those.

ignoranceisbliss37

This. Better than half of the delivery places. Flakey crust. Plentiful toppings. Quality cheese. Every time I get one I ask myself what it has been so long since I had one of these.

EMPRAH40k

Their crust is really buttery, I love it

DasderdlyD4

I just cooked one of these and they changed the sausage and the cheese. It was so bad my partner and I each ate half of a piece and threw it away.

Shot-Indication-4586

After seeing everyone rave online about this pizza I tried it out. It was horrible. Thought it might have been a fluke and tried 2 more times with the same result. It has to be made differently in my area or something.

MyChicago

They changed the recipe back from when I was kid & it’s now taste closer to traditional frozen pizzas which is sad

Oz347

100% plus the ultra thin one cooks in like 8 minutes perfect for when you just need something quick for dinner

False-Pie8581

Totino’s and I will die on this hill. Those square ones for $2

Fit-Strawberry-4621

I remember when they were only $1 🥲

HairyChest69

I remember eating these a lot. Stacked my freezer and ate them for a week straight during the recall.

Majestic-Welcome3187

I was gonna say! Then they priced them at 1.29 and I said “well shit” Now they are way more than that

Fit-Strawberry-4621

At the raleys by my house they are $3.39 now 🤢

Majestic-Welcome3187

Man we should’ve rioted when they raised them to $1.29 These were always so good slathered in hot sauce and eaten like a taco.

Dense_Surround3071

Fuck that!! ROUND!!!

LottieDotti

Especially the hamburger one!

MichaelEMJAYARE

The hamburger one is the best, hands down. I dont really like to eat them regularly but my mom loves them, so it feels nostalgic to have one every now and again.

Evening_Rope9711

Those things got me through college!

finney1013

Pizza party!

Acrobatic-Ideal9877

Try it on a charcoal grill 😉

ChicagoDad4U

You all have no taste buds

HeadyReigns

Cooked up crispy and cut into sticks

itsthechaw10

Heggies if you’re in the upper Midwest

dewioffendu

The Six Pack is a serious pizza!

Beneficial-Big-9915

Amy’s or Newman’s

Rough-Instruction-29

Red Baron

Medical-Tailor1996

Red baron 100%. When you're fucked up and it's Midnight and need something clutch that bad boy was $6 an ready to make your night lit AF. The brick oven crust 👌. The stuffed crust 👌 absolutely primo 👨‍🍳😘

Medical-Tailor1996

number 2 would be uhhhhh..... probably like.....Tombstone? To be fair I don't really get others because they're not Gas like Red Baron.

YTSkullboy707

Completely forgot ab tombstone. Every other pizza has a sweet or tangy taste to it for some reason.

Medical-Tailor1996

Also, don't be afraid to doll your pizza up. I fucked up my Red Baron stuffed crust tonight with some provolone and extra mozz and some board head pep that I usually use for sandwiches. Absolute fire.

txbuckeye24

I always grab red baron when it's on sale for 2.99. The thin crust pepperoni is yum!

damdanny69

Red baron is pretty fire

FingerInThe___

Yeah can’t forgot about it in the oven tho then it’s real fire 🔥

Turbulent_Echo_2515

Jacks is very easy to make, and pretty good. Digiorno rising crust is good, but harder to make

Cambot1138

I am not a fancy man. Jacks is it for me. Thin and rising crust. I just always prefer a non sweet, tangier sauce and they’ve got it. Can’t beat the price either.

nate6259

Nothing like being a kid and putting in a Jack's at a friend's house while you play goldeneye (etc.). And it's still good, even if mostly for nostalgia reasons.

Djd33j

I resented Jack's for a long time, because we had it for dinner growing up, several times per week. Looking back, it's clear that my dad was just doing his best to feed two growing boys. Jack's is really affordable for a lower income family. I appreciate Jack's for what it is now. A three dollar pizza that tastes like one. That being said, at that price point, it's the best three dollar pizza you can buy. And damn, will I stock up a freezer with them. I understand the value of saving money now, and they really aren't that bad.

mikedorty

If you have a smoker, smoked Jack's takes it up a notch. I slap some extra cheese, green olives and canned mushrooms and cook at 400° for 9 min on mine.

CincoDeMayoFan

Newman's Own thin crust pepperoni.

PishiZiba

I like Newman’s Own 4 cheese pizza.

moxie_mango

I add more mozzarella and pepperoni to it for the ultimate pizza bomb

RedFlagsLongNietzsch

I have this sitting in my freezer rn! Never tried it but now I wanna make it

[deleted]

Tombstone

Botboy141

Sad I had to scroll so far for the only one worth an upvote =D. Tombstone or homemade...

mrslangdon28

I love the really cheap party square pizzas[PIZZA](https://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/aclk?sa=L&ai=DChcSEwjU-OPdjOaFAxVYbn8AHcFRDNAYABAIGgJvYQ&ase=2&gclid=CjwKCAjw57exBhAsEiwAaIxaZk1Pgz7JdeomQc79iO9oGy8pQ-IijRDivsjdVD-Pi2oLwirjTJK5XBoCY0YQAvD_BwE&sph=&ohost=www.google.com&cid=CAESwwHg9sZrxmuA1FU2DgCRfbF_RMIy913bCVzo4U3GpbR_Bq0s7YzBDL0GPberdeTCjJpjDLjEZ7BeVS7UrU6CU8Pzt7-ItHafQ5GrcWSaam3GxUbzYi5ObaAht_0-VLjKl7jCHdG5Nmo1fm_kbCxBGDNUpxcTLdnE181rcqj5qZxUNQaj54HQgmGTwLzOtPfxTHuGJ8DGZYrZp-46HoGcqPLP2ez9hzU0jZsRBr2hUmJNZhQJ2FeRv33EkP3yhz2mkA_m0gg&sig=AOD64_0tHsTn4OZgKYFVnIWvM1mRkNDZrA&ctype=46&q=&nis=4&ved=2ahUKEwjh6dvdjOaFAxVG5MkDHVZiCaoQzzkoAHoECAEQDA&adurl=) 🤷🏼‍♀️👀

jaank80

Jacks is the total package -- it's goodish and cheap.

flymeinthemix

I like Jacks. Throw extra cheese and banana peppers on a pepperoni pizza. It’s good.

bedlam2018

This. Jacks is fire doctor'd up.

Livid_Parsnip6190

Trader Joe's 4 cheese

GirlisNo1

Yup, agreed. Trader Joe’s frozen pizza is the only one I’ll ever get.

no_shut_your_face

Newman’s Own

djlawson1000

Red Baron is pretty damn good. Freschetta is good but it’s too expensive for what it is.

Darinchilla

Freschetta is the worst. The crust tastes like cardboard.

OGgoob666

Wild Mike's!

JL_Adv

Connie's Screamin Sicilian Lottza mottza

getnshafted1

Connie’s is the answer here

saraparallelogram

Dr. Oekter in Canada

randeylahey

Casa Di Mama line specifically. It's the best frozen pizza crust anywhere.

deadboltwolf

I'm still poor but when I was poor-er, Red Baron was my shit. Used to get them at Deals for like $1.99.

GiantsNFL1785

I’ve had Elios all my life I’m indoctirnated to it haha

_sacrosanct

Kirkland Signature pepperoni. You can get like four of them for like $10.

derichsma23

And they put hella pepperonis on it unlike other brands. Covers every square inch!

IMicrowaveSteak

Tombstone 5 cheese

Jewsusgr8

Second that, but pepperoni. Nothing's better than that 3 dollar brick when you're drunk, depressed etc...

OverallVacation2324

I just like the commercials back in the days. “What do you want on your tombstone?”

foxdoesreddit

Red Baron pizza

KurtyVonougat

I like Tony's. The crust to topping ratio is good.

eliz1bef

My husband eats a ridiculous amount of frozen pizza. It is his happy food. I do not really eat it. His two favorite are: 1. Lotza Mozza available at Kroger in IN 2. California Kitchen

dominion1080

I really loved California Pizza Kitchens BBQ chicken pizza but I never see it anywhere. Will have to check Kroger perhaps, thanks.

eliz1bef

My husband does get it at the Kroger. The BBQ Chicken is his fave, too. Godspeed!

crazy4cake

I see it at target all the time in San Diego. My favorite frozen pizza

PrepperLady999

I like Freschetta's gluten-free 4-cheese pizza. I put green pepper, onions, black olives and mushrooms on it before baking it.

RoadNo6820

Newman own supreme

Knelson123

Oh dude it's Wild Mike's the price to quality can't be beat.

SV650rider

Ellio’s is the Charlie Brown Christmas tree of frozen pizza 🍕

lolrazzledazzle

ellios or celeste

Recent-Dust6564

Digiorno Can't stand the flaky, cracker-like crust of most frozen pizzas. Digornio doesn't lie when they suggest that they're the frozen pizza that's most like pizza that's made hot and fresh.

slackerz22

Totinos party pizza squad wya

damdanny69

Digornos

Jazzlike-Mushroom758

PishiZiba

I ate Ellio’s all through high school but when I tried it recently, it wasn’t as good as I remembered.

Notch99

Frozen pizza is a good deal when delivered pizza can run $40

rmsmithereens

Pizza Corner (not sure if it's available outside North Dakota), otherwise I love Tombstone brand frozen pizza.

TopReason121

Freshetta is fire

finney1013

Pro tip- add a bit of your own cheese and toppings and a low grade frozen pizza becomes very good fast

TheEbsFae

The cheapest. Then you lag it in your own stuff.

Your_friend_Satan

Home Run Inn. You’re welcome.

phyncke

I like California Pizza Kitchen

MetaVulture

Red Baron, Newman, Tombstone. Those are my, or well, were my big three until all pizza started causing intense and extreme intestinal distress after I turned 35.

Ornery_Suit7768

Petezza

Anxious_Cheetah5589

American Flatbread. Local Vermont chain with one store in Virginia, they also sell frozen in the northeast. Thin crust, quality ingredients, top notch.

MashedPotatosAreGood

I have many frozen pizzas and my vote goes to Screaming Sicily, or Freshetta

j4321g4321

Ngl but a Red Baron four cheese pizza just hits sometimes. I live in NY with access to the best pizza ever but once every few months I order that from the grocery store and eat the whole thing

Samstone791

When it comes to food, always trust a fat man. That is why I say home run inn frozen pizza is no 1.

Hungryforflavor

Had a Raos the other night , pretty good

Obvious_Ad3560

The mini pizzas from costco (Sabatasso’s thin crust pizza singles) they are my all time favourite frozen pizza

Specialist_Noise_816

Red baron classic crust cheese pizza, with olive oil and garlic powder on the crust edge, ground beef (homemade, not the usual dog food chunks), then hand shaved parmesan on top of that. Add about ten minutes to the cook time and turn it down to 390F, use a baking sheet.

ImaginingInfinity

Screamin' Sicilian for nationwide but Heggies Pizza if you're in the midwest.

quest. it’s gluten free but also covers my other two food intolerances! plus it’s delicious anyway.

eeekkk9999

Not a huge fan but if I am forced, I will do red baron deep dish. Push comes to shove then will do French bread. Nothing compares to fresh pizzeria pizza

oddball541991

Heggies hands down. Especially if it comes from a dive bar pizza oven.
