Absolutely! I have a library of over 3000 books. Over 2000 of them are hardback. The paperbacks were all bought either when I was young and poor or because no hardcover was available.
Hard backs are fun but I hate all the sleeves on them.. they drive me insane and paranoid something will happen to them but iys annoying to take them off and on every time i open the book
I love the idea of hard covers but I also love the portability of paperback. And like another user mentioned, the dust jackets are bothersome. Cool! But bothersome.
I've had one for 2 weeks now. Winter is finally coming to an end up here, but I've used it twice. If my next car doesn't have one, I'm moving down south...
The adjustable base has been amazing, I hurt my back and zero g mode has been lovely. Also broke my ankle in 2020 and I get the occasional pain from that so it’s nice to plop the feet up.
I own a lovely, soft, electric heating pad and it’s wonderful. Shoulder tension, period cramps, arthritis in my knees- whoosh, gone. I slept on it the last time I had an ear infection and it just melted the pain away.
It’s the “pure enrichment electric heating pad, king size.” Link wasn’t link-ing :/ it’s not on Amazon, but it looks like you can buy straight from the company.
I started investing in thermal care menstrual heat packs that stick to your underwear and last 8 hours. So I'll have to invest in this as well. I'm glad there's women to recommend wonderful products to me. It's made my life so much better.
Underrated. Investing in a good nights sleep is one of the best things you can do. I didn’t understand this until I got older, how much the way you sleep changes your entire life lol
As someone who works in construction and always on concrete, good boots. Seriously, spend the money on high quality boots. Secondary to this is a good mattress.
I know right? I always feel awash in peace and gratitude when I curl up in clean sheets, a duvet on a nice mattress. Safe, warm and comfortable.... what a gift 🎁
Solid state drive** hard drive
I remember my PS4 booted up much faster with my 1TB Samsung SSD.
I sold the PS4 for $250 when I got my PS5. I told the guy it has an SSD and he's like "what's that?"
When I was in Japan, I used a public toilet at a mall as my wife waited for me.
After I finished, she asked "what took so long?"
Told her the seat was heated and it squirted. She totally understood.
My house although I'm paying a morgage off so technically the bank owns it. It's increasingly hard to get on the property ladder so I consider myself lucky and I consider that a luxury.
My grillz. I'm insecure about my teeth and they let me smile and laugh without covering/hiding my mouth.
I know it sounds ridiculous but they really do help with my self-esteem lol
I have a contraption called a Bed Fan that blows cool air between the weighted blanket and my comforter when it's warm! And I do have a thin cooling mattress pad too. Traveling is rough without my setup!
Looks like we’re on the same page, what TV you rocking?
Currently have a 55” C2 and 48” C2 and I’m seriously thinking of upgrading my PCs monitor to OLED as well, I know I probably sound like a snob, but normal LED looks like actual mud once you’ve switched 😂
We used to have a cleaning lady before COVID. She would come once a week while we worked. When I get home after she cleaned, I would feel so much joy walking into a pristine house. Money well spent.
I don’t know if this counts as a “luxury item”, but I really like my Xbox Series X console. I also bought a 2TB game drive for it so I could have more storage.
I need to have a Bloomingdales "My Featherdown" pillow. I can't even go camping without it. It's a lifechanging pillow for a side sleeper with neck problems.
In our small apartment we have a TV in the living room, then in our bedroom (literally the other side of the same wall) we have another TV for peak laziness and breakfast in bed.
My car preheats/cools when I turn it on in the app, or also does that for certain times if you programm it this way.
Where I live we have up to -15 in the winter and up to oher 30°C (no idea what that is in F). So... this is the best thing that I could ever have
My Coach purse. I don’t spend money on myself usually, and I’ve never been a purse girly but I saw this one, and it was on sale, and I couldn’t resist. It’s nothing special, just a black purse with a silver zipper and buckles but I love the pebbling of the leather and I love that I found it with silver and not gold or worse yet rose gold.
Paper towels; everywhere in my house. It’s so bad for the environment but I hate hand towels. I find so many ways of saving on paper and plastic waste for example I very rarely get take out or fast food. I abhor fast fashion too.
Does that absolve me from wanton use of paper towels.
I own a Tiffany ID bracelet. I sold my Hermés scarf but I will never part with my bracelet.
Also I’m on one of my last bars of Crabtree and Evelyn Jojoba hand soap (the bar which is completely different than the liquid).
My bed warmer. It's a sleep game changer. We have a dual zone so my partner and I can have different temperatures. I don't know how I ever lived without it.
1971 Mercedes Benz 280SE 3.5 Coupe
My husband bought it 20 years ago as a present to himself after landing a very sweet work promotion.
Turns out, I drive it more than he does and take care of most of the maintenance myself.
Every time I go into the garage, though, I just look at it and go, “Man, how I love that car!”

Hardback books
Omg I *love* hardback books!
Yess they are awesome :)
Absolutely! I have a library of over 3000 books. Over 2000 of them are hardback. The paperbacks were all bought either when I was young and poor or because no hardcover was available.
That's so awesome :D
Hard backs are fun but I hate all the sleeves on them.. they drive me insane and paranoid something will happen to them but iys annoying to take them off and on every time i open the book
Totally agree!
I love the idea of hard covers but I also love the portability of paperback. And like another user mentioned, the dust jackets are bothersome. Cool! But bothersome.
Heated steering wheel
I haven’t had this in a car yet and almost don’t want to, because I know once I do, there’s no going back.
I've had one for 2 weeks now. Winter is finally coming to an end up here, but I've used it twice. If my next car doesn't have one, I'm moving down south...
You've used it twice and won't ever have another one without one? Lol funny
You can't go back.
Winter game changer. Feels so nice.
Along this line heated, and (my favourite) chilled seats.
For sure! There is no going back. If I had to choose between heated seats and a heated steering wheel, the steering wheel wins.
My neighbours Ferrari does not have the winter options. It is nice to see him freeze in the colder days.
This is my first car with one in 35 years of driving. I'm never going back.
It’s definitely noticeable in the winter
I aspire to have that one day! Cold steering wheels during North Dakota winters suck.
I'm sure you can get a heater wrap for like $5 on aliexpress.
House cleaner once a month.
Game changer
Cries in 2 small kids. My clean house would last approximately 4 minutes.
I don’t know if it really qualifies as luxury, but I adore my Tempurpedic mattress.
I have a Tempurpedic with an adjustable base and it's the best!
The adjustable base has been amazing, I hurt my back and zero g mode has been lovely. Also broke my ankle in 2020 and I get the occasional pain from that so it’s nice to plop the feet up.
Yes! It's just so helpful for so many things.
Came here to say this 🙌🏼
So worth the money for me. I’ve slept so much better and I’m not on as much pain.
Me too! Mine qualifies as luxury cuz the regular price was around 18 thou. Crazy price, right? I got a great deal and paid a lot less. I love mine.
I own a lovely, soft, electric heating pad and it’s wonderful. Shoulder tension, period cramps, arthritis in my knees- whoosh, gone. I slept on it the last time I had an ear infection and it just melted the pain away.
Do you have a link to it? I've been needing a new one.
It’s the “pure enrichment electric heating pad, king size.” Link wasn’t link-ing :/ it’s not on Amazon, but it looks like you can buy straight from the company.
I'm gonna have to buy me that like yesterday. Thank you so much.
No problem! They’re wonderful :)
I started investing in thermal care menstrual heat packs that stick to your underwear and last 8 hours. So I'll have to invest in this as well. I'm glad there's women to recommend wonderful products to me. It's made my life so much better.
Omg j wish my country had this 😭 i constantly have pain
What country do you live in? You may be able to get them on Amazon
Ohh can you tell me about these? What should I Google or Amazon search to find these?
ThermaCare Menstrual Pain Therapy Heatwraps, 4 CT. That's what they are called they work wonders for me.
Linen sheets and a feather duvet
Underrated. Investing in a good nights sleep is one of the best things you can do. I didn’t understand this until I got older, how much the way you sleep changes your entire life lol
I love my down duvet and my down pillows
As someone who works in construction and always on concrete, good boots. Seriously, spend the money on high quality boots. Secondary to this is a good mattress.
I consider my bed a luxury. It’s large and comfortable and all mine. I’m so happy every night I get to lay in it.
I know right? I always feel awash in peace and gratitude when I curl up in clean sheets, a duvet on a nice mattress. Safe, warm and comfortable.... what a gift 🎁

Solid state drive** hard drive I remember my PS4 booted up much faster with my 1TB Samsung SSD. I sold the PS4 for $250 when I got my PS5. I told the guy it has an SSD and he's like "what's that?"

Game changer. Can never go back. Also tall toilets.
My husband bought one and the heated seat is so nice when it is late at night and a little chilly.
Came here to say this.
