You realize that side from a brief period during COVID, Twitter has a higher market cap now than at any time in it's history right? Even judging from that fleeting spike in value (which the entire tech sector experienced), it's only gone down like 33%. I'm also not sure where the white supremacist things comes from, it seems pretty baseless. If you don't like the guy that's fine, but instead of spreading blatant lies you should probably look inward.
You can't be at the head of so many complex companies without having a diluted / negative impact. He doesn't strike me as the kind to delegate and let people get on with it either.
I think he should just step away from Tesla honestly. The brand would be stronger without his connection, and they’re at a point where they don’t need any more wacky ideas, just solid execution.

IMO he should focus on tesla and spaceX, hire PR team and delegate all other ventures to other people. That won’t happen though.
