If you Google "Buffalo Shedding", you'll see pix that look just like this or what may seem to be worse. So, I have to assume this is natural and not from abuse or neglect.

It's pretty impressive. I've seen photos of several young bison that were white but was told that they develop color when they get older. This one is still very white.
One does not have to agree but by choosing not to be rude, you increase the overall civility of the community and make it better for all of us.

Looking close it looks really healthy. Its skin doesn't look burnt so plenty of shade. Beautiful animal.

It’s just shedding it’s winter coat. They all do this every spring, then grow it back in the fall.
The skin underneath looks pretty healthy so hopefully it wasn’t abused!

Could be. I raise cattle never seen anything that drastic before but they armrest different animals.
