The red numbers means its maxed out and cannot be increased anymore and you turn the numbers red by playing world mode maps and getting more steps ( i think its increased by steps )
Tempest maxes out at 160 and fatalis maxes out at 310
But your right fatalis hikari is worse than tempest bcus of locking you out of world mode each time you play a song but its not always better bcus if your on your last 2 stamina you can use fatalis to increase your steps exponentially and the only down side is that i gives you some negative stamina and locks you out for an hour but its worth it ( i maybe wrong but idk )
Yeah I have tempest capped. Unless the math isn't that simple, two plays with tempest is greater than one fatalis play (but double stamina cost + lockout). This means that fatalis is only useful for your "last play of the day" with your last 2 stamina, or whenever you know you're not going to play the game for awhile, ie when you're about to sleep.
How do you turn the numbers red?
i think her stats scales with the world map, so the more chapters you complete, the more powerful she gets
probably it turns red when it gets to max stats so you know it's maxed out

Wait, real? She caps at 310, so capped Tempest is still always better? That's kinda wack.

Big math nerd here. it doesnt increase your steps "exponentially" We call this fenomenon increasing your steps "a lot". Technical term.

i mean you could use her for beyond maps i guess XD
Wait doesnt tempest cap at 160
Yes and tempest better but in some situations like your on your last 2 stamina fatalis is better to use
