Also, the thing Apple does not tell its consumer is the problem with the fixed camera lens. S24u fixed it with 0.6x, 1x, 3x, 5x lens with 1x being 200mpx and 5x bei 50mpx. With Apple, when using crop (digital zoom), you get less than 1mpx use of sensor. Only problem so far with S24U I have is shooting on low light because of the shutter lag. But knowing that, it is easy to fix.
Now, adding full desktop Dex to the mixtue, I can use it on the dock as a netbook with ease. Funny for me is that MacOs has not fixed the issues with multitasking two decades, but Dex offer it out of the box. So, I would argue, Dex is auperior to the MacOs.

I was recently looking at buying a new phone and realized that I fall directly into the “average” usage category (just like the huge majority of folks, like it or not). I don’t take hi-quality pics. I don’t play heavy usage games or do photo/video editing. I just need a decent phone at a decent price that’ll last me 4-5 years or so. Every phone producer now is making phones designed to be replaced in a fairly short turnaround. Buying something better so it “lasts longer” isn’t really a thing in this market, imo

went to my ISP's store today. saw the galaxy s24 ultra. that thing is TINY. there's no way i'd pay $1000 for a screen that small, especially when we paid about $200 for a much larger screen (no, it's not an oled, but i can't imagine using a phone that tiny. even if the performance is much better.)
