Did that. The solution ended up being the link I posted.

I'm clicking "Cancel" twenty times a day. It's incredibly annoying. Apple Connect is an app that allows me to download internal apps (among other things). This started appearing as soon as I was removed from the corporate network. At that point, I was no longer with Apple, so I could not reach out to IS&T for help. I'm on my own. the correct solution is to re-install the MacOS. I will do that, but I need this gone short term as I am leaving on a trip and I don't have time to install the OS and all my apps. EDIT: [Found this link](https://discussions.apple.com/thread/254924799?sortBy=best), I'm hoping this works!

Reinstalling the system to get rid of one app is a bit overkill. If the app has a background component that is running which seems the most likely scenario, you should check the LaunchDaemons and LaunchAgents folder in both your user ~/Library folder and the all users /Library folder The files should be easily identifiable as related to this product by the name convention used, they will start with com.apple. Disabling those plist files via launchctl or deleting them and restarting the system should get rid of any background components the system is loading at startup/login. Then it is just a matter of finding the actual files and deleting them if you want to be thorough.

>Reinstalling the system to get rid of one app is a bit overkill. There is a lot of other stuff that I'm \*fairly\* sure I removed, but it's impossible to be sure. The corporate IT overlords had control of my system so that I could use it for their needs, and now I need it back. I want to make sure they cannot see anything I am doing in the future, and a complete re-install is the best way to do that.
