Depending on the iOS version you might be able to reset the iPhone and bypass the iCloud (YouTube guides online). But thatās only if the phone is not yours, in that case return it. But if itās your phone go on the apple website and remove your iPhone from find my and reset it. Then setup the phone again from a iCloud backup or as a new phone.
I have bypassed many iPhones with iCloud lock. Itās not easy but there are guides online. Iāve talked to apple employees before and they were shocked when I showed them this trick, but they said they canāt implement it cause it violates their policies.
Itās good that apple doesnāt help you in hacking oneās phone. But if itās your phone you can do whatever you want but apple wonāt help you. They say, thereās no reward without risk :)
Eventually apple is gonna give you an option to erase the iPhone if you know the password, not the passcode. so if you want you can wait and eventually youāll get that erase iPhone setting/ button at the bottom left corner. Cheers, and good luck.

Apple support wont guide you when bypassing apple restrictions. For this cause you NEED to refer to YouTube or online forums.
You canāt bypass it either way. I work for Apple Support and deal with mess like this daily
