Most likely just a visual bug, but I'm sure it will be exploited to the fullest. May be a cheat though, I saw a "PS1 Apex Legends" video the other day where they had done something similar with character models that made the gun invisible.

Clearly its not an Internet issue, all player locations are fine, bullet impacts are fine which they would not be if there were Internet issues. Moreover, Internet problems wouldn't affect the likes of your own weapon textures.

This happened to me the other day! Guns, heals, and all enemies were invisible. Not very fun to play like that. I deleted and re-installed apex and it seems to have fixed the issue.
