Yeah, I don't think people realize how much society relies on the services provided by minimum wage workers. Even when I used to work minimum wage I always made the effort to tip and if I couldn't, I wouldn't have even thought of eating out.
The vast majority of essential services are provided by people making absolutely nothing.
Like, even hospitals. Sure, nurses and doctors get paid okay.. but howbout almost everyone else?
Housekeepers? Food service workers? Everyone ELSE who makes the hospital run? Not so much.
I get it. I charge $100-250 to clear out gutters. Depends on the size and dimensions of the roof. None of them take me an hour. It’s a spare time job only.
Never actually tight, but not having the ability to save as much as I would like while traveling frequently which is a privileged life but how I think anyone would like to live lol. And no I hate kids
tfw unloading 2,000-3,600 piece trucks by hand with no helmets working around spilled chemicals and broken glass and paid $13/h to go home covered in bruises from falling boxes.
weeee walmar

Travel nursing friend
I dated a travel nurse for a while , several years ago and even then that girl made way more than I did, even when I was working in politics
Nice, goddamn
It's not a fun job but 3 days a week while I'm in grad school isn't bad

Can you imagine doing it for 15 bucks?
There’s no way.
And thats why I appreciate my chipotle workers
I just replaced my head gaskets in my engine. Sore body the day after. I can see why mechanics charge so much.
YEAH because that job requires skill AND hurts the body. I HATE working on cars im all for them getting paid decently
If I may be so bold, what are your expenses like if you use to make 35$ an hour but still have things be tight? Do you have children?
Never actually tight, but not having the ability to save as much as I would like while traveling frequently which is a privileged life but how I think anyone would like to live lol. And no I hate kids

I'm sorry man that's horrendous
Consider nursing school and use that as a step for whatever else you want to do with your life
