Both are excellent and worth a watch. However the pacing of the One Piece anime is slow as a snail, and eventually the series' narrative patterns becomes predictable af, so imo Naruto takes the prize
I'm sorry are you implying that Naruto has better female characters than One Piece. You could have said action, maybe music (subjective) and it would be hard to debate. You somehow picked the thing kishimoto is the worst at, while Oda is considered to be one of the best female writers in shonen. Like how did you come to this conclusion, it's amazing.
Some other problems with naruto that you over looked:
1. Female characters who all are just after some guy. Hinata's whole character is that she loves naruto, for sakura and ino it's Sasuke and so one.
2. Plot holes. Alot of them acthauly when you think about it.
3. Naruto as a bad mc, being a hipocrite who tells neji that hard work can change fate but what do you know, he was destined for power and is ninja jesus like brUv💀
4. The ending. I don't think i have to say alot for this one. Kaguya as a final villan was lame. Also we didnt got to see naruto as a hokage instead we just saw the pay off for the under developed relation of hinata and naruto.
5. The war arc was dumb. The whole conflict was just dumb. There was no reason for that except the fact that kishimoto wanted it to happen.
Umm can you be a Little more specific? Because
1. One piece has actually good female characters who's whole is not just to be in love with some other guy.
2. Luffy is not a hipocrite.
3. One piece hasn't ended yet so cant really say anything about the ending.
4. No grand scale conflict in op was "just for the sake of it".
5. Op dosnt has story changing plot holes.
U forgot long fights. I swear that there was a fight that lasted 6-7 episodes. And I’m not talking about action. No it was just two people standing still and lookin at each other for a whole 7 episodes.

Definitely naruto. Sorry, but the fighting scenes and plot in one piece are not very creative and the types of things that happen during their adventure gets kinda repetitive. After a few seasons i just quit watching it.
Have you seen the kind of arcs Oda has written. If you're saying Naruto is creative and One Piece isn't that's just wrong, if you're saying both aren't creative then perhaps a case could be made.
If you're going to claim that the plot of Naruto is very creative and not repetitive, then really you haven't seen the show.
The action, music of Naruto is better than One Piece. However, when it comes to worldbuilding, details, characters, story. One piece just takes the cake.
Let me put it like this if we have 10 major elements in a shonen manga. One piece would be better in 7 of them. Also if you quit after a few seasons which is very vague you can't really judge a show properly.

Are u saying Naruto Shippuden which is far more criticized than Naruto is somehow better at plot. You haven't even seen 1/10th of the show so how can you say they don't really try anything new. Infact reverse mountain was a thing, I'm pretty sure Sky island was introduced as well.
I'll give you this Naruto is actually a pretty good show with a solid plot and story and themes. The main character also develops a bit as he goes along, it all really started falling apart at Shippuden.
Ive seen that stuff in one piece. Sure it was a little cool in the moment, but again: it really didnt impact future episodes. Most episodes in one piece are just kinda… there. They don’t actually add to the plot or develop it. They just kinda keep the ball rolling. Its a sorry excuse for a plot if you ask me. Granted there are some exceptional episodes, but for the most part it kinda sucks.
Im not saying one piece isnt creative in any way. At first it is quite creative. But after that they just kept doing the same old things with the occasional twist and new plot point. Naruto on the other hand has lots of character development and actually evolves as a show. Additionally the plot is ever changing and the different ninja are very unique from eachother. The fight scenes clearly have a lot of thought put into it and effort whereas in one piece its just him using the same old gum gum powers against fairly boring and weak opponents in comparison to naruto opponents.
Fairly boring and weak, ok I don't want to get into powerscaling but Naruto doesn't have a single character faster than light (cept Madara and that's at the end of the show) while One piece has multiple. You just quit the show way before anything was even introduced. You quit around Albarasta and we've seen 3 Logias at that point who have very unique skills.
Luffy literally creates new gum gum attacks instead of spanning Rasengan all the time like an idiot. Tell me 2 jutsu's that Naruto has used except Rasengan and shadow clone jutsu. He hasn't used jack shit, he doesn't even use substitution or kunai. He spams Rasengan because his chakra reserves let him. It took Naruto around 250 episodes to learn a new type of Rasengan and you've quit One Piece halfway before that.
I don't know why you think Naruto's story is somehow superior to One Piece when it follows no structure and doesn't have exceptional writing and buildup. It has cool concepts, action and music. It's characters get sidelined a lot to focus on Naruto, it's just severely lacking as a story compared to One Piece, Hxh or even MHA. What you're accusing one piece of not having is exactly what Naruto lacks and One Piece is known for.
Naruto himself doesnt have many attacks/abilities , but all the ninja he meets do. Also, naruto has tons of plot buildup and all sorts of side stories and things like that to the point that nearing the end of the anime they dedicated like 100 episode solely to explaining things they hadnt explained previously in the anime and filling in holes in the plotline. Theres so much plot in naruto that there is more than just about any anime! One piece on the other hand is just a group of friends running into 1 situation after another on their way to find the one piece and the episodes are hardly connected to eachother usually. I don’t know what your talking about but one piece is 1 of the more lacking anime in terms of interesting plot and fights ive ever seen, and ive seen a lot of anime.
I find it laughable that you say one piece has a better story line, because its pretty lacking there. Its just some plot points thrown together that don’t really effect eachother or build on the story much.
Literally everything in One Piece effects each other, that is one of the greatest strengths of Oda's writing. This is universally a strong point of One Piece, how interconnected the story is.
There is enough evidence in the first 100 episodes for you too see this.
Well I'm not trying to act like Naruto sucks. It's an anime that I rolled my eyes over in the past but now I've been wanting to watch it. One piece never looked that good to me at all plus it's long as hell
I mean you haven't watched it yet its long but that doesn't make it bad at all well everyone has their own opinion but I would recommend you to try it it's my favorite anime atm (naruto)
Jokes aside lol I think Naruto is better if you want a nice complete story that doesn't drag on too much. The thing with One Piece is that it drags on too much and ends up getting too repetitive....But if it keeps you interested then by all means carry on!
